"Not the best experience ever We stayed at an air BNB nearby.. After attending my work meeting, my husband noticed a cute little espresso that was named Chickadee's Espresso. My husband late mom's name was Chick so we were genuinely excited to check it out. However, when my husband walked in, we immediately felt unwelcome by the stares, unhappy upside down faces. It was pretty obvious the owner or manager did not appreciate our presence. The other staff member at least tried to speak to us in a polite manner but it all felt very awkward. Clearly our presence was unwelcome from the time we walked into the door. The manager on site stared my husband down and I watched her eyes dart back and forth to him. It was plain obvious she didn't like our presence. Coffee was decent but the customer service ruined the thrill of seeing and trying a new place."

"I stopped in to give the new coffee shop a try, and it's lovely! I got a ham and cheddar croissant sandwich, shortbread cookie with strawberry jam, and an affogato. It's slightly off the usual tourist beat (but very close to downtown area, airport strip park, and the Westchester Lagoon area). It wasn't crowded even during the summer tourist upswing. So if you want something delicious in a cute cafe without the huge crowd, get over to this shop and support local business!"
