"I left a review 4 months ago with 5 stars saying this cafe had Excellent service and Lattes. I returned today and was very disappointed - the staff were indifferent, the Latte took 15 minutes to receive after ordering even though there were only 2 orders in front of mine and the Latte was one of the worst ones i've had. I will be going to one of the many other cafes in Anchorage and I won't be returning."

"Four days in Anchorage looking for great coffee. We finally arrived at SteamDot ! It’s really difficult to find good cappuccino when traveling. Here, they prepare a traditional cappuccino in a short cup full of flavor and the perfect amount of a little foam on top, reminiscent of real cappuccino in Italy."

"I have never in my life had to completely throw away my coffee before. Not only did I have to wait 30+ minutes for a line of 4 people on a Sunday to get two coffees and two hot chocolates. My coffee wasn’t edible. My wife’s coffee you could at least force it down. My children’s hot coco was completely cold. I don’t recommend coming here at all for your coffee."

"Coffe was very smooth and tasty. I had an Americano with heavy cream and raw sugar. Lots of people hanging out, talking, working with lap tops open and some chilling at the bar or by the fireplace. Artwork on the wall is by a local artist. I’ll be back!"
