"Sadly today was so disappointed at Bear Mountain Espresso. A new barista made me and my sister two drinks, we pulled away and took a sip and realized either our order wasn’t quite made right, or the coffee was burned, for whatever reason the drinks both tasted pretty bad. Turned around and two minutes later pulled back up and let her know, they just didn’t taste right and asked her to add a little flavor. She essentially told us they don’t fix drinks and if we wanted to buy two more she’d make two more. Appalling! She wanted me to spend another $15 on coffee? Absurd. She told us we were unreasonable for wanting our $6-$8 ( plus the $3 tip) drinks to taste good or be remade. She then closed the window on us and told us to leave. In all my life I have never had a barista not fix a drink that wasn’t quite right the few times it’s happened (including Bear Mountain Espresso). I’ve only had to have a drink redone, maybe 5 times in my life…. but those five times, service was done with a smile. For the price they charge on these drinks, a good drink should be the result. Always. Most shops say, if you don’t like it they will remake it . This is their one service after all. I really can’t even put to words the way we were treated. The owner dm’d with my sister directly within a few minutes. No apology. Just a lot of lip service. When we mentioned that the gal didn’t offer to remake the drinks, but did offer to charge us again for new ones. Nothing but crickets. This is the worst service I’ve had here and will be taking my multi-week coffee trip to one of the other stands. Peter’s Creek coffee patrons, I recommend you do the same. Otherwise if you see a black BMW SUV parked outside and the barista who goes with it, avoid this shop. Unless you enjoy being treated dismissively when you get a bad drink that tastes like three day old burnt coffee, that you just paid a premium for. Hopefully Bear Mountain Espresso ups their service game. I was really appalled."

"Bear Mountain Espresso I have never received such poor service at any coffee shop. A new barista I have not seen before, made my requested drink, lavender latte, tasted it and was back within 5 min. To say this really does not taste good. She said she could not take them back, and she could make another drink but would have to charge me. Are you kidding me, so now I’d be spending nearly $20-30 for 2 bad drinks and awful service. I really can understand not taking drinks back for sanitary reason (should be posted so people know to check immediately and barista should ask) although I don’t believe it with some coffee shops using people’s personal cups, but your telling me you can’t take the cup you just handed me 3-5 min ago? Ok, Then make another drink, it’s YOUR job! I refused to pay again, asked for a manager, to which she attempted to say there is no manager 🙄🙄, then after saying to her “that can’t be true”, she said a name, and wouldn’t give contact information. Oh and this girl closed the window on my sister and I twice claiming we were unreasonable. Seriously to be asking for our paid drinks to be good??? So here I am drinking a bad drink that I payed and tipped for- I did post on the FB page and will be posting everywhere I can think to spread the news and avoid others having this frustration. Manager responded but not with an apology. Sadly I will not be returning, probably gifting my 4 punch cards I have going, and spreading plenty of this by word of mouth to all friends family and social media! I’d avoid going if you see a black bmw X5, young blond gal!!!"

"I used to come here all the time in high school, it’s nothing like that anymore though. The barista‘s used to be so nice and talkative, now they are much more quiet and reserved. The last three times I’ve come I was ignored while I sat at the window. I wasn’t greeted until the other customer was already gone, I get that every shop does it differently, but it’s not a nice feeling to be ignored.
