"Did some hill climbing on the bike and my reward was to try out Back Woods Coffee. It was worth the effort! The low carb breakfast bowl was made with meticulous perfection. All the ingredients were layered and tasty. The coconut machiatto made me feel like I was on an tropical island in Alaska. Such a great taste. The staff were superb and the wait was not much of a wait. Grateful for the respite!"

"Very cute drive-thru only, coffee house. We had a vegetarian burrito (potatoes needed to be cooked a little bit longer) and the Iliamna burrito which was very good. Recommend the Lynx and Mayan Mocha for drinks, they were delicious."

"Ive gone here before and it was great, but today they didn’t use oat milk or even stir the coffee .. all the mix was at the bottom of the cup . I paid 17$ for a cookie, 2 white chocolate mochas with 2 extra shots and oat milk in place of normal milk because I’m allergic. This was terrible. And the lady at the window wasn’t even friendly. I hate to leave bad reviews but that was ridiculous!"

"The staff is not always punctual. The coffee is only warm, never hot. I constantly ask for it to be hotter. It's like the temperature is set to kid friendly. There's 1 shop closer to the house, backwoods is better than that. Barely."

"I ordered their White Out Mocha with white espresso (lightly roasted beans with a higher caffeine concentration) a week ago and I haven’t stopped thinking about it. Was the best caffeine beverage I’ve ever had 😍 It tasted earthy, creamy yet light. It was the perfect temperature and the most delicious beverage! No other coffee I’ve had will ever compare. Was a perfect stop while heading north out of Fairbanks! Highly recommend stopping if you are in Fairbanks or travelling through, promise it’s worth it!"
