"The waitress we had was just absolutely adorable. I didn’t get her name, but she is from Greece I believe. The sandwiches were huge. Definitely could’ve shared. Between the four of us, we had two French dips, hot, submarine sandwich, and a patty melt. The only complaint I have is the bathroom needed to be updated about 20 years ago. The french fries are delicious. They’re crunchy on the outside and crunchy on the inside and the onion rings are delicious. The onion rings have a sweet taste, which I absolutely loved."

"A Local Spot for Homestyle Breakfast We stopped in at Donna’s based on the menu and the packed parking lot—a good sign when you’re looking for a solid breakfast spot. The place was absolutely crowded. We ordered pancakes, which were large, fluffy, and just what you’d hope for. I also had the biscuits and gravy. While the gravy itself was a bit of a letdown (pretty bland and lacking the sausage you’d expect), the biscuit underneath was fine. On the other hand, the hashbrowns were excellent—I’d asked for them well-done on both sides, and they came out perfectly crisped. This is a great place to stop after a long flight into Juneau—comfort food, friendly vibes, and a bustling local crowd. I’d definitely go back, though next time I’d like to explore more of the menu to find a favorite."

"I ate there about 3 months ago and was going to leave a review but forgot to until now. It was my first time in AK so obviously my first time at Donna's. I will do my best to go back there EVERY TIME I'm in AK. The food was delicious. The service (including the kitchen) was AMAZING! I'd give it 10/5⭐ if I could. The food for my entire family (5 people) was out in 5 minutes. I was absolutely baffled. I've had to wait longer for McDonalds Drive-Thru food. And nothing was undercooked or prepared poorly. The food was a little pricey but THAT WAS POOR PLANNING ON MY PART. NOT THEIR FAULT. There are people that come to work just to make a check and do the bare minimum to get it. You will not find ANY of those kinds of people at Donna's. Absolutely fantastic experience all around."

"All the employees are super friendly. They do have fast service and good food. And lots of food. I have eaten hair several times in the past two weeks and I have never cleared my plate. Always leave happy and full."

"A great diner. Best onion rings I’ve ever had and everything else is really good. Staff is friendly and helpful. Great diner burger. There are fancier places in town but Donna’s has character and very good food. Coffee is what you would expect from a diner and that’s just fine"
