What People Are Saying
from Google & Yelp"I had the unfortunate experience of visiting what I can confidently say is the worst coffee shop I’ve ever encountered. I ordered a Breve, a latte crafted with rich half-and-half. My anticipation was high—I was hoping for a luscious, creamy drink that would deliver the robust flavor of freshly brewed espresso. Instead, I received a bland, watery concoction barely hinting at coffee. It was genuinely disheartening. Unfortunately, this shop is situated in a bustling area, attracting many tourists who might settle for mediocre coffee. However, it’s a missed opportunity for the business to thrive by providing quality beverages. They could significantly increase customer satisfaction and overall sales if they only invested in better coffee preparation. To add to my disappointment, the cash register person was rude. Their demeanor left much to be desired—acting with an air of entitlement as if serving customers was beneath them. It’s important to remember that a bit of kindness goes a long way, especially in the service industry. When a customer inquires about the flavors or options available, the staff should be prepared to explain thoughtfully rather than respond with an attitude, as if the inquiry were an inconvenience. After all, without customers, there's no business to run."
"Craved some local coffee when my cruise line docked here in Juneau. A cute coffee roaster on the corner in downtown, was a cute intimate find. The staff here was amazing and so was the coffee. It hit the spot for some energy before our evening whale watching tour. Definitely received supporting local business while on vacation."
"Coffee roasted in Alaska? Of course I'm gonna stop. Coffee was what I expected. They had room to dine in and chat or outdoor patio seating if you wanted to watch the people go by. Lots of sights to see locally, to shop, and eat in Historic Downtown Juneau where this coffee shop is located. Don't forget the coffee. Red Dog saloon is close by. We walked past an old Orthodox church on the way behind town to hit the hiking trails. We went early enough after leaving the cruise ship. There were not a lot of people so the wait was not bad. People got off after us so it likely got busy along with all the shops."
"Came right before closing and the girl behind the counter was friendly and talkative with me while she made our drinks. I ordered a cherry Italian soda and a small size caramel steamer. She even offered to make the steamer lukewarm, as she saw it was for my son. Observant and excellent customer service! The Italian soda was delicious and refreshing, as we’ve been walking around all day and the sun was beating down on us. The steamer was a perfect size for my son, and the perfect drinking temperature for him. Reasonably priced as well. Great drinks, outstanding service."
"I stopped in here just to grab a latte to warm up from the cold and rain, and am now sad to know I'm only visiting Juneau and wont get to start everyday with this coffee. My latte is excellent, the service was efficient, and the café was nice and cozy. A great experience and I hope to return again next time I'm here!"
"Food and coffee / mochas were great! Service was fast! Not a sit down place, this is a drive through or in our case a walk up to the window and order and..."
