"This is definitely the most authentic and best Italian food in the valley! The handmade noodles and quality of their dishes shows and everybody should give these folks a try! Their menu is a nice size and they focus more on the quality of what they serve I think then the overall quantity which I always really appreciate. "We went here for dinner (take out) on Friday. This is definitely the best Italian restaurant in Alaska. The staff was incredibly friendly the restaurant is cozy and reminds me of a small shop you'd find in Europe somewhere...they make their own pasta from scratch every day. I got the Carbinara and my wife got the fettuccine Alfredo with chicken. Both were the best we've had in our life. For dessert we split a tirramisu, again best I've ever had. So the next day we decided to try them for lunch and got "the cure" sandwich and the meatball sandwich...just insane, next level. We also got a sausage pizza to take over to some friends, it was a big hit, everyone loved it. If your in wasilla/palmer/big lake, and you want an amazing treat, try Nonna's."

The dining adorned with lovely greenery, well appointed tables and even better company. If you're as lucky as we were, Mary will share the kitchen's offerings for the evening. Her sincere joy and hospitality is akin to visiting your own family who has long awaited your arrival. Freshly made pasta, house made dressings and sauces fill plates, tummys and togo boxes. Portions are large and filling without being wasteful. Beware of the desert counter, it is sure to seduce you with its authentic offerings. The ricotta cookies are sure to please! Dining at Nonna's leaves you feeling as though you stepped into a movie set. The staff, the food and the atmosphere too incredible to believe they are real.
