"First visit and we were impressed. The service was friendly and swift. The restaurant was very clean and well taken care of. We chose a daily special soup and sandwich or salad. We had the homemade potato and bacon plus grilled cheese and cornbread. Everything was excellent. We will return!!"

"Fantastic find - a hidden gem. Pimento cheese was perfect. Veg beef soup was like that typical of Sand Mountain - delicious. No friendlier staff to be found anywhere in America. It’s good!!!!!"

"Simply delightful. Came in for lunch. There's a varied menu of hot/cold sandwiches and salads. Had a Godfather, which leans toward a Chicago style hot dog, and a side salad. The dressing was made in house. All very nice. No frills. No gimmicks. Incredibly pleasant and charming people. Family operated. Frankly their prices are probably too low. How often do you hear that? They have daily specials and a daily rotating soup. Looking forward to another visit next week."
