"Stopped by Bonsai Coffee in Athens and had a great experience. I ordered the sausage, egg, and cheese along with a 16oz Americano, and both were delicious and full of flavor. Hot food was served hot, and the coffee was smooth and well-balanced. Makaila, who was working behind the counter, was incredibly kind and polite and happy to offer recommendations. She mentioned she’s the daughter of the owner, Rachel, and that she’s usually there most days. The shop has only been open since June 2025, and it already feels well-established. The space is clean, modern, and thoughtfully decorated, with soft music playing in the background. Prices are fair, and the atmosphere is calm and inviting—great for studying, business meetings, or a relaxed, romantic date. There have been some reviews noting the lack of a baby changing table in the restroom, which is currently true, but staff is aware of the concern and actively working to get it addressed. Great food, great coffee, friendly service, and a welcoming vibe overall."

"Really great spot the atmosphere is cozy, the food was solid, and the staff was friendly. My only reason for giving 4 stars instead of 5 is because my wife’s coffee wasn’t made correctly. She asked for half-and-half, but it was made with something else. Not a huge deal, but it did affect her drink. Other than that, everything else was great and we’d definitely come back!"

"My coffee was amazing. The staff was super nice. I wish they had a few more food options, but overall great!! I brought my baby and didn't feel out of place. Great atmosphere with a wide selection of music playing at a comfortable volume. They unfortunately do not have a changing table, so mamas of young babies be aware :) Pictured: caramel and toasted marshmallow macchiato with oat milk and chocolate chip muffin (which was warmed!)"

"I went and visited Bonsai Coffee Company for the first time yesterday. I was impressed. They have such a good selection of drinks. I couldn't decide what to drink, so like the sign said, I tried the Nutella Latte. And I also got a cream cheese Danish. I was so impressed. The people behind the counter were so sweet. They were patient as I looked at the menu. I will be back soon to try more things. I also love they are a bit closer than 7brew. They also have more food items than muffin tops. 😅 I feel like for what they offer, their pricing is definitely reasonable. With tip included, I paid 11.75 for my large coffee and pastry."
