"If I owned a bar, it would be Black Market. The menu is a great mix of classic standards and quirky surprises, including my personal favorite The Disgraceland burger ( a perfectly cooked burger with bacon, cheese, a fried egg and peanut butter and jelly) Hands down my favorite burger in Birmingham. Everything we have ever ordered was delicious, generously portioned and served piping hot. The staff is super friendly and helpful, I've always had a great meal from Black Market. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐"

"First visit to Black Market Bar and Grill on Thursday night. The food was ok. We ordered The Bad Exampler. Loved the hummus and the empanada. The onion rings and queso was also good. The Greek Egg Rolls, however, were not even edible. I absolutely LOVE egg rolls and standardly do not discriminate. I also am obsessed with feta cheese. These were just BAD. My husband and I each took a single bite. The drinks were good though and the service was fantastic! We sat at the bar and were served by the blond bartender with the mustache. He was awesome, I just hate I didn’t get his name! Very eclectic crowd gathered, perfect for people watching. We will be back to try something different from the food menu!"

"This was a neat little place we stumbled upon. The food was excellent 👌. If you are thinking of going to a chain, you might as well choose this local place instead. The food was much better than any chain at a similar price. Our group had burgers and a appetizer with a variety. The burgers were juicy but not greasy with many different options. Definitely try the seasoned fries. The variety appetizer was also a great size for a 4 person share. Their drinks were excellent and they didn't skimp. The waitress (sorry I'm horrible with names), was so nice and attentive with a spunky personality. Everyone there seemed to be having a great time. 👍 To the rubber duck claw machine. We won one for the Jeep owner in our group. Oh and the bathrooms were super clean. If the bathrooms aren't well maintained, it makes me question the kitchen situation. Great place!"

"My friend and I were looking for a casual dining experience and was recommended this place by our hotel staff. With a cool, kooky, sports-bar meets '60 sci-fi/goth ambience, the service was spot on and FAST (early Thursday evening) for both drinks and food. Both servings were more than enough in presentation and quantity, making them satisfying value. We'll be back. 👍😎👍"

"First off, cutest, coolest waitress ever named Katie, so sweet and chill. Food is 10/10 the hulk burger, omggggg. I’m a 5 foot 100 point woman and i couldn’t leave any scraps it was so so so so good. The fries were perfect, the Burger, PERFECT. I feel like i’m about to explode right now but i have no regrets. The vibe here is also so chill just, idk, it was such a good time. Hallelujah, praise the Lord. God bless this place."
