What People Are Saying

from Google & Yelp

"Very good cakes, quiet pricey. 50$ for a cake felt very expensive. Overall good service and clean location. They have everything you need for a birthday party. Interesting collection of goodies."

"Nothing like paying over $200 for cake and one of them ends up looking like this not even four hours after purchasing it"

"Bought a cheese ball yesterday for a party. Normally, it’s the best. Only this afternoon had some and was shocked how flat and tasteless it was! Just Paine cream cheese rolled in crushed pecans! Nothing inside! Not a single ingredient: no garlic, no green onions, no Worcestershire or steak sauce, let alone ham!!!! Pure fake! I am embarrassed that I served it to my guests!"

"I used to brag on Edgar’s King Cake being better than any back home in Louisiana. But the quality has unfortunately declined. The King Cakes are now flat and dry. Don’t waste your money on one. Buy a thumbprint cookie instead cause it’s the only thing lately hasn’t disappointed from there. Also the cinnamon rolls! But these King Cakes I received were a disgrace. I ordered them fresh and when I picked them up they were flat and looked old. The sugar topping was moist and sticking to the cellophane. Maybe reconsider your packaging method…🤔. Anyway I didn’t say anything because I was being them that afternoon to the birthday party. I was thinking they don’t look pretty but at least they’ll taste good. Big mistake! HUGE! They were wet and sticky on the outside and dry on the inside. Definitely won’t be bragging on Edgar’s for a while. Very disappointing to say the least. I don’t mind paying more for a King Cake but Edgar’s… you’re not worth it anymore. If you’re looking for a King Cake next year BHAM, just go to Publix or Winn Dixie cause it’ll be cheaper and taste better. And yes I was petty enough to break out the tape measure. 🤭"

"This was the first time we actually have eaten lunch at an Edgar’s. We have bought many bakery items from Bread, Cookies to whole cakes but never a lunch. I had the impression that all we would get chicken salad and other cold items. We were pleasantly surprised. They have a hot sandwich menu near the checkout with roughly the same prices as the cold. We ordered a Rueben sandwich and an Adult Grilled Cheese (Pimento and Cheese) with a side each. Service was very quick. We will eat there again."

"I just went to the bakery here to pick up a strawberry cake for my niece's-college graduation event. I told her mom that Edgar's had an excellent strawberry..."
