"Imagine if you went to a Panera that did not give the slightest care about calories that is what Newks is like. No, fruit or unnecessary pieces of bread after you already have a sandwich on your order. Now the salad was dressed a little bit too much for my liking.I would have ordered my dressing on the side.But the portions were appropriate, and I was able to get myself a little bottle of wine. Over all we is had a good time"

"Never again!! While on my lunch break walk, I stopped here thinking it was a good choice. While the service was great and friendly. I waited almost 20 min for a half chicken bacon club with barely anything on it resembling a sandwich. Thank goodness that I had some Milo’s Honey Mustard in my office desk because this thing was dry as hell. My 4 year old nephew could have made this better. I hope the slice of cake and fruit tastes better than this “sandwich”. Update: the fruit cup tastes old. They couldn’t put much chicken in my sandwich because it’s in my fruit cup😡. It’s small pieces like this all throughout the cup."

"At lunchtime today at Newks down town I had the pleasure of having the Best cashier ever. Our order was prepared so fast. The food was so good and prepared very hot. I ordered 6 pizza and 3 salads. The cashier has the Best customer service. I didn't get her name but the time was around 12:00 and she been working there for some time. Please acknowledge her in your meeting as she is an asset to the company. Thanks."

"Such a great restaurant. I went to the downtown Birmingham. I put my lunch order (12 noon) in at around 7:30 this morning and it was hot and ready when I arrived. There was a line so not having to wait was a plus. Walk right over and pick my order up from the online area. My food was still hot and delicious as always. Thanks Newk’s for saving us health care workers time during our lunch hour."
