"The food was okay but there is just not the typical vibes here. I had the "3 Little Pigs Omelet" and nothing about it was visually appealing but it tasted good enough. The grits were cooked absolutely perfectly and the cane sugar was a very unique twist on the biscuit but other than that pretty mediocre meal. Nothing that would have myself running back. The pricing was surprisingly good though."

"I’m, typically, a fan of the Ruby Slipper restaurants; however, today’s experience has changed that to a “NEVER AGAIN!”. We ordered coffee, cocktails, an appetizer, and entrees and were disappointed in it all! The restaurant was cluttered with old pitchers of tea, someone’s coat, AND dirty trays placed on top of the clean cups that they served the customers. I would not recommend anyone."

"Decided to drop in for brunch before doing some shopping. Everyone was so nice but our service was slow. We didn't receive all our food and refills were few and far between. Our food arrived and it was another 10 mins until we received silverware to eat it with. The food over all was okay. The beignets were a huge let down. They were just fried biscuits and there was no marmalade. The biscuits themselves were dry. The home style potatoes were under cooked. The other food was just good enough to eat."

We ordered the following: French toast bites: 9/10 kiddo loved them Fried green tomatoes: 10/10 incredible batter and sauce combo Sweet heat chicken French toast bites w/ scrambled eggs cheese: 10/10 the sauce complimented the chicken and French toast beautifully Shrimp and grits w/ pancake: 10/10 gravy was bold and flavor packed. "It took 1 1/2 hours for us to get, pancakes, eggs, grits and fish, chicken finger sandwich...server did not even return to our table of 5 paying customers to refill beverages, ask if we needed any silverware...which we had to request after we received our 1 1/2 hr late food. People who came in at same time we did everyone of them had finished and left! Everyone else there was new arrivals..and not to mention the each server turned their head to avoid us asking for help as they ran quickly past our table...the servers were sweeping floors around our table and even sitting down in a chair sweeping the floor...poor customer service, they get a BIG FAT "D+".. only because the food ...was decent."
