"Hostess was not helpful, seated out timed previous potential customer who had missed their appointment time multiple times. Was told it would be about 25 minute wait and was more like 30 minutes. No waiting area. Customer sitting, drinking and eating at the bar also were then given a table. Will not be back or recommending."

"Flying Biscuit Start of Labor Day weekend, brunch out. Long drive, lots of small errands , prep etc., but start the day right ! Waffle, peaches & cream anglaise is phenomenal. Pair it with a mimosa or a cappuccino. Wonderful grits. They call them dreamy for a reason! Great coffee & expresso, this is well made, coffee it is aromatic. Incredible sides. Fried green tomatoes are luscious, I am so particular for this dish, such a favorite. I rarely say how much I love them. Nailed it, 💯. Especially on a Friday family brunch . Eggs perfect over medium, which is always difficult to have on point. Steak, excellent sirloin. Burger really delivers. Everything is fresh! Fresh & clean & plentiful & so bright & pleasant. Waitstaff are all interactive, kind, attentive to needs. Location to all colleges nearby is awesome. Samford, take note, this is a brunch delight for all the college kids' moms! Dad has the portions that please & Mom has variety & food quality, which is so difficult to impress 💗 This is authentically beautiful food! Bring your sorority sisters, your Bible group, your cousins, that difficult to please family member everyone will enjoy it. Ask for John, he was a great server & the flying biscuit should not lose front of the house that manages to handle tables so well! (I generally focus on the food, but husband was so impressed by the front of house staff & I am reminded that it takes both sides for final product delivery to be that quintessential memory) Breakfast & brunch are hard to deliver, so many beautiful, well designed plates that are southern low country classics, come sit & have a sip & savor."

"Update: Had breakfast with my sweet love's family and had a great time and excellent service even though we were a large group. 1st visit: Had a Flirtini, which was a great drink and a Freebird meal. Deliciously thick chicken tenders on soft biscuits and topped with eggs over easy draped with southern gravy and side of grits. Added turkey bacon and toast to really hit the spot"

"Swung by for a quick breakfast. Shelby had very good customer service. Plenty of seating and food was pretty good. I ordered the dirty bird. The gravy was very good and I couldn’t tell if the tenders were freshly made or frozen. Eggs were cooked perfectly. Everything came together."

"Jordan was our waitress and she rocked!! She was very friendly, kind and had patient. My kids and I got there right after they opened and it was nice. Everything was SUPER clean, the girl's bathroom smelt amazing!!! My coffee cup was always full! The food was sooo good!!!! It was hard to decide what I wanted to eat. It all looked great!!! The honey chicken was out of this world. The biscuits and gravy was the best I have ever had at a restaurant!! Great place !!"
