What People Are Saying
from Google"Value to cost is not there. The prices were wildly inflated compared to the value of the food. The whipped feta with honey was good, but is paired with an unsuitable cracker. The burger was nothing more than a generic frozen patty on a plain bun. To no fault of their own, there was no AC in the building. The expectation of fine dining was lost from the rip. The menus were disgusting and dirty, as were the glasses and silverware. The young lady that served us was pleasant and kind. The overall experience is one that will never draw us back for a repeat visit."
"Popped in breakfast at the Harvest, which is located in a hotel. Only one server who was trying to manage 15 tables and doing the best she could, all while maintaining a smile and managing to check on me enough. Got the redmont special with scrambled eggs which were okay, some kind of Alabama sausage which was really good, the seasoned potatoes which were delicious and I just wished I had more of the larger pieces, and the cheese grits which were okay. Overall I liked the breakfast and the area."
"Pretty good place, but I felt like the server thought since I was dressed in casual shorts and tennis shirt, and my wife had on a sun dress, that we.... nevermind. Everything was good, but we felt uncomfortable. And no, not because we're Haitian/Jamaican mixed. I think our dress attire. But the hotel stay was great. There's a library across the street, and a park, which was good to walk through. We even went to a museum, which was also walking distance."
"We stayed at The Redmont, so we had breakfast here on Sunday morning around 8. We had to wait 40 minutes for the biscuits to cook, which is understandable since they had to cook but she said it would only take 20. The biscuits and gravy were delicious and absolutely worth the wait if you have the time lol. They reminded me of cheddar bay biscuits and the gravy was soo good. The whole menu sounds good and the cafe on the other side of the lobby has great coffee and tea (I had a chai tea). There is not very much seating but the ambience is top notch, very classy. Call ahead and see if they have biscuits before going in 😉"
"What a wild ride. Not a soul was there on a Saturday afternoon at 5:30. Just our group. Waitress was very… “hyper.” (If you know what I mean.) Chef came out and admitted he basically didn’t like anything on the menu except the steak. I liked the honesty but gave me weird vibes that it must not be a great place to eat if everything was so terrible. Food was okay, but we only went here because everything else in the area closes at 4pm. Also, it was HOT - needed to put the AC on blast because of the huge windows. Way too expensive for such a weird experience: did not feel like a fancy dinner."
