from Google"An absolute travesty to the name of pizza! I stopped by to grab a couple of slices of new york pizza. I simply wanted the basic pepperoni pizza. Well they couldn't even do that right. Lmao! They got two slices of cheese pizza out of the display case that had been sitting there who knows how long. Then they just put the pieces of pepperoni on the already cooked cheese pizza. Then they threw it in the oven to heat the pepperoni. When I got back to work I open the box to find all of the pepperoni just sitting on top of the pizza curled up all weird looking. Then I go to pick up the first slice and all of the pepperoni instantly falls off (half in the box and half in my lap) of the pizza. I then notice that my hands were covered with grease so I lift the pizza up so that I can see the bottom, and it completely saturated with grease. I'd like to say that I knew better than to taste it, but I did it anyway. The cheese was like rubber, the sauce was near non-existent, had to just eat a pepperoni by hand, and now my face grease. Absolutely the worst pizza I've ever had. I've literally had better frozen pizza. Let's just say I wouldn't go back there even if they offered me pizza for free. Oh and I forgot to mention thay after placing my order they gave me a cup so that I could fix my drink. I go to the drink fountain and fill my cup with coke. Then put the cup up to my mouth to take a sip and either the coke, ice, or cup smells like bleach. I pour it out and rinse my cup with water. Then try a second time... Same thing happens, so I empty the cup again. And just throw it in the garbage. So yeah I paid around $13 for a two slice combo and get one bite of terrible pizza with no drink to even wash it down. I definitely wouldn't recommend the place to anyone. The only positive that I can say about the establishment is that the inside of the restaurant was clean."
"Ordered take out. Got the Figgy and a Build your own. Both were delicious. My favorite thing: cold toppings on the side so they aren’t mush when you get home! I love it. The Figgy was excellent - the perfect amount of prosciutto and fig. Love the sweet bites from the fig. And the arugula, feta, and Balsamic glaze are the perfect complement to the fig and prosciutto. Will definitely be back!"
"My partner and I love Uncle G’s! The pizza is made to order and always fresh, so I always tell my friends and family about it. The owner made a tiktok saying they need more business so don’t hesitate to try something new! It’s detroit style deep dish pizza, and the pepperoni they use is AMAZING. I’m a picky eater but I love this place. Support local businesses🤍 Wednesday nights are buy one whole pizza get one free!!! It’s so worth it for a date night or quick dinner after church if you’re religious! There’s arcade games as well to keep kids occupied🤭"
"We love Uncle G’s Pizza. Hop City currently has Uncle G’s food truck right outside their store which is a perfect combo.. pizza and beer! You can order a whole pizza pie or by the slice. Staff is friendly and the orders are fulfilled quite quickly. It was delicious as always!"
"Picked up two pizzas at Hop City. Visiting from Michigan, and consider myself a Detroit style connoisseur. Uncle G’s nails it. Crispy edges with fluffy dough. “The Dal” was absolutely divine."
