"Stopped by Cross Ties Coffee in Falkville as a Huntsville passersby, and it was a great little surprise. The shop has a warm, beautifully designed interior, good outdoor seating, and a Little Free Library inside the café. The staff and locals were friendly and easy to talk to, creating a very welcoming atmosphere. It’s veteran-owned, with a quality coffee bar, fair prices, and beans sourced from The Foundry Roastery in Huntsville. There’s also a hidden, cozy study/work area behind the bar that adds to the charm. They offer baked goods and a food menu as well, though I didn’t try them on this quick stop. Great coffee, great people, and an inviting space worth visiting."

"Coffee shops are often the "Welcome to our Town" kinds of places --or they SHOULD BE 😉 Well, if you agree, then THIS is a place you'll want to visit. Warmth exudes from its atmosphere, people, food AND coffee ☕ A variety of seating options, a good selection of homemade goodies and a military discount. It even offers local crafts/products along with a lovely outdoor seating/pet area. Just off I-65, Ashton &Co. are waiting for you to stop in and enjoy their hospitality!"

"This place is an absolute gem! Cross Ties Coffee Company is exactly what Falkville needed. The location on Railroad Ave is perfect; being in a historic building right by the tracks gives it such a unique and charming atmosphere that harks back to the golden age of the railroad. The interior is incredibly cozy, spotless, and beautifully decorated. I ordered a latte and some fresh pastry, and both were top-notch. The staff is exceptionally friendly and attentive—you can really feel that genuine Southern hospitality here. Whether you’re just passing through or you’re a local, you definitely need to stop by for an inspired break and a great cup of coffee!"

"I tried this cool coffee shop today before my appointment, and I was so happy to find a new, chill spot to grab coffee and a bite, maybe even relax and read a good book. I loved how the place looked from the outside, and the inside is super relaxing, clean, and inviting! They even have an outdoor seating area for sunny days! The baristas are really helpful, kind, and know how to make an amazing breakfast croissant and iced latte! I can't believe I've lived 15 minutes away for years and am just now trying them out. I can't wait to go back soon! I'm bringing my book next time!"
