"This is hands down the best coffee shop I’ve ever been to in my life. The customer service was outstanding—everyone was friendly, welcoming, and truly made me feel like a regular even on my first visit. The scones were absolutely out of this world: perfectly tender, lightly sweet, and so fresh and soft. And the coffee… unreal. It was the smoothest, richest dark roast I’ve ever had, with so much flavor but none of the bitterness you sometimes get with darker brews. You can tell they take real pride in what they serve. The vibe of the shop is just as impressive—chill, cozy, and so comfortable that you instantly relax. It’s the kind of place you can sit down with a cup, breathe, and actually enjoy the moment. If I could give more than five stars, I absolutely would. Highly, highly recommend!"

"The owners are truly wonderful, patiently helping me learn how to buy coffee and guiding me on ordering. I bought a hat and t-shirt from the shop and really like the apparel. The shop is cozy, clean, and offers great food options. I would work here if I could — it's so comfortable! It's definitely my favorite spot for coffee, surpassing scooters and Starbucks. Locally owned and loved by the community."

"Do you love coffee? I mean, do you LOVE coffee! Then you need to visit Moody Brews in Gunterville, AL. First and foremost their coffee is rich and flavorful. In fact, it was the best Cup of Joe I had on my trip. Second, the atmosphere is a cross between New Orleans funky and retro cool. You can hear Louis Armstrong, ol' Blue Eyes, and other 1940's songs play while you sip a latte and munch on cinnamon roll or a hand crafted breakfast sandwich. If you need an excuse to visit Alabama and specifically Guntersville, make it a trip to visit Moody Brews. Oh, and say hello to the most helpfull young man in the porkpie hat! PP z 9"

"Moody Brews is a wonderful little treat in Guntersville! My husband and I were visiting from Florida over the weekend and in good coffee withdrawal. The atmosphere is spot on and the coffee and pastries we had were excellent. The staff were very friendly and efficient and we really enjoyed talking with the owner. Definitely a must try if you’re in the area!"
