"A fantastic English pub with an amazing atmosphere and truly wonderful staff. The drinks are expertly crafted — the salted rosemary Old Fashioned is hands-down one of the best I’ve ever had. The food was outstanding. The bone-in pork steak had a perfect crust and was expertly seasoned so good I honestly wished I had ordered two. The veal was beautifully plated and rich with flavor. The French onion soup was visually impressive, though the broth was a little thin for my personal taste. For appetizers, I highly recommend the crab cakes easily enough to share between two people. Overall, an excellent dining experience and a place I’ll absolutely be returning to."

"If you are looking for an amazing meal experience...look no further! This place is amazing....Great service, stellar atmosphere and ridiculously great food. Our neighbors brought us here for dinner tonight, and we were stunned at how yummy everything was. We started our meal with the Crab Cake appetizer.....They were perfectly cooked, and had a fresh, rich flavor. The sauce was super yummy as well. Then, I had the Pig Bone-In Cowboy Steak (aka Pork Chop) with pan-fried asparagus and apples drizzled with an organic cider sauce and my hubby had the Fish and Chips with Mushy Peas. Both were served piping hot and perfectly cooked with superb flavor. For dessert, we had the Sticky Toffee Pudding with Chantilly Cream and an Italian Coffee (with Kahlua). One of the best meals we have had in a long time. Our server was friendly and helpful....and kept our beverages filled without asking. He delivered everything quickly and made sure we were well taken care of. The atmosphere is authentic English Pub, and made for an excellent evening. If you haven't been here yet....you are missing out!"

"This place totally blew me away! The ambiance is spectacular - such a great place to cozy up to the bar and have an expertly crafted cocktail. And the food - wow. I had the gnocchi and smoked salmon and it was fantastic - most everything on the menu was European inspired but with a twist. I’ve been to pubs all over the place including England/Ireland and the food here was the best I’ve had out of any. Honestly this may be my favorite restaurant I’ve ever been to. And the prices were very reasonable! Will be going back any time I am passing through Huntsville, for sure!"

"This pub is fantastic! The fish and chips were absolute perfection—crispy, flavorful, and cooked just right. The holiday drinks were a real treat; we tried the Fireside Chat and the Hot Toddy, and both were excellent. Cozy atmosphere, great service, and delicious food and drinks. Highly recommend!"

"I have a friend who absolutely loves Poppy and the parliament. Mostly because of the Guinness and Smithwicks I’m a huge fan if the magners cider. (Although they don’t serve it with ice like in Ireland.) the appetizers when they have the oysters and a charcuterie board are nice however, on this trip, we specifically went for the duck. My friend raves about this and absolutely loves it. It was OK for me. I wasn’t a huge fan, but I get the draw."
