"I enjoyed a fish and grits breakfast this morning! Everything was really good. I came back for dinner and was told they had closed for the day at like 4:30, I was a bit sad because Google shows they stay open until 7 on Mondays. The guy informed me they only do that on the weekends. So my only recommendation is that they increase the hours for those who don’t get off work until later in the evening so they too can enjoy the great food here."

You can really tell that the ingredients are high quality and made with care. Portions were generous without being overwhelming, and everything was well-prepared. The kids loved their meals, and the staff was very kind and patient with them. For the adults, the main dishes were delicious and filling, and the desserts were the perfect sweet ending to a great meal. "Stopped in for lunch, and this hole-in-the-wall did not disappoint. These were the nicest folks, and the food was excellent. I got the special — a fish sandwich and fries for $5.00 (!), and a banana pudding. That banana pudding was out of this world! I will absolutely visit again. I'll add that the few negative reviews tend to state that the restaurant was empty. It's an insinuation that the restaurant isn't doing well. Pay those reviews no attention. All food is served in to-go containers and bagged, so you can assume that the majority of their customers purchase take-out. Multiple customers did just that while I was eating."
