What People Are Saying
from Google"Location & Atmosphere: Loud and tables pushed so close together it is impossible to enjoy a conversation with your guests. Location is well centered downtown and seems to be well kept. Service: Not overly friendly but well enough for a dinner. Food: Let me start with the fact that we waited over an hour for our food, not a huge issue but not great. Here is where the main issues were. We ordered the Caprese salad, seafood pasta, Cutting Board filet and a side of the grits. The Caprese salad was nice but the dressing was a tad too sweet, no biggy. The seafood pasta was decent and well done on the seafood to noodle ratio. The cutting board steak was not a great entree...especially for the price tag of $62!! The steak was ok, no sear and poorly seasoned. The bleu cheese sauce was just ok. The fingerling potatoes were nothing more than gas station potato logs and should have been replaced with potatoes that matched a filet or the price tag. Okra was overcooked and barely there. Overall, it was an ok experience but a bit much for the quality of the dishes. Let's not even discuss the fee for using a card instead of cash. It's 2025, no one uses cash. Recoup the cc processing fee elsewhere."
"Everything was so incredibly delicious! The staff were really nice especially Amanda. My husband took me there yesterday for a birthday dinner and it did not disappoint! I highly recommend it!"
"One part of our anniversary celebration . We started with drinks cranberry cinnamon bourbon we both had the stuffed chicken with asparagus over the ravioli my husband loved the sauce he said it’s very familiar ended with the fudge brownie everything taste great. Unfortunately I only have a photo of my drink because when our meals came we forgot to take photos. I blame the drinks good conversation and atmosphere but good thing is we will most definitely will be back ."
"Went to the Dumbwaiter with friends for the first time ahead of a show at the Seanger Theater & we were not disappointed! We split a number of appetizers our favorite of which was the Brussel sprouts- holy cow were they delish & it was a HUGE portion size! Would definitely order them again. The Caesar salad was also delish & the pork rinds were good but we wouldn’t order them again as the pimento cheese was served warm which wasn’t very appealing to us. Our waitress wasn’t very friendly to us or the table next to us which put a little bit of a damper on things but, we really enjoyed the meal itself as well as the ambience, it’s a beautiful restaurant in a convenient location!"
