"My wife and I drop in to Greer’s on St.Louis Street frequently to grab a casual meal. Sometimes we take our grandchildren. The salad bar and hot bar are both great. The kids love the mac and cheese. We’ve gotten some great daily specials. But our “go to” is the StL burger. It’s huge and delicious. We like to sample the different draft beers and individual canned beers with our meal. And the grandkids typically get a freshly baked sweet treat or ice cream. All of the staff are friendly and welcoming. Dropping in on a night when there is live music is a bonus. Everyone should give this place a try."

"This specialty grocery store is like an experiment for downtown Mobile's revitalization, particularly the St. Louis Street corridor after decades of neglect. What makes it more special is that the Greer's company is locally owned and operated. The concept works, mainly driven by a deli and a dessert counter with coffee. The small store is probably the best market for one stop shopping and prepared take-out in the area without going to a larger, busier grocery store or restaurant. Adding to the appeal is an indoor seating area and a rooftop patio. Some produce items can be higher than at other stores, though, but factor in the cost of traveling to other convenient and safe stores and it sort of evens out. Sometimes, a premium is necessary for convenience and comfort."

"Awesome grocery store! This place generally has everything you'll need. It may not be the exact brand you want, but I'm betting it ends up being better!!! Also, the food they have available for the lunch crowd is insane!! I have to be careful, or I end up eating lunch there 3 or 4 times a week. They also have "take and bake" items for dinner. In all honesty, from an OG fat boy, this place is legit."

"I generally like all the versions of Greer’s but this one warrants a review. The staff is friendly, prices are acceptable and they have some things I can’t really get elsewhere. -rooftop patio is not to be missed -on premises alcohol -great wine selection -hot bar -Cammie’s ice cream!! The list goes on. Us downtowners are lucky to have this location and configuration."
