"The food here was absolutely delicious — hands down the best pancakes I’ve ever had in my life! Everything we ordered was cooked perfectly and full of flavor. However, the service process definitely needs improvement. When we arrived, there was a long line and no one greeted or acknowledged us. We stood there for about 15 minutes before realizing there was a waiting list which was handwritten on a loose sheet of paper with no clear organization. After getting on the list, we waited another 35 minutes until one of the staff cleaning tables kindly offered to seat us. Once seated, the food and overall experience were fantastic. Please work on improving the check-in and seating process, because the food alone makes this place worth visiting again."

"I recently visited this restaurant and was excited to try their offerings. The staff was friendly, and the atmosphere was enjoyable. However, I experienced some disappointment when I was informed that they had run out of certain dishes, but I wasn’t told until three hours later. I also wasn’t able to get the drinks in a timely fashion due to them running out of ice. This lack of communication affected my dining experience, especially considering the wait time involved. I believe that better communication about menu availability and updates during the visit would greatly improve future experiences. Despite this hiccup, I appreciate the good service and hope to see improvements on operational side. I was only discounted 25% on the chicken platter."

"We checked out The Breakfast Spot in downtown Mobile and the food was great! The Conecuh sausage, eggs, and grits were packed with flavor, and I’m already planning a return visit to try the catfish. The staff was warm, welcoming, and made the whole experience feel friendly. The only downside was the noise level — a boombox blasting hip-hop gave the place fun vibe, but it was so loud that it was tough to have a conversation with my daughter. Also, I’m a big fan of grits prepared properly, these could’ve been a bit creamier and cheesier. Overall, a really fun spot with delicious food, great service, and a vibe all its own. Can’t wait to go back!"

"I'm all about supporting Black-owned businesses.....but it's situation like this, that have me not supporting. Wiffie and I put enough change into the parking meter for an hour and fifty- two minutes. When we got back to our vehicle, there was twenty-eight minutes left on the meter...When we walked in: #1. We had to get our own menu and seat ourselves #2. Took TWENTY minutes to get someone to take our drinking order..AFTER the waitress and a man(who seemed to be in management) took care of two young ladies(half dressed) before they took our order for drinks. #3 ordered the Mardi Gras tea..."we don't have that. Just mimosas". Ordered an Arnold Palmer...DAMN! Should've ordered another water to "water" it down, because it was more like a "diabetic tea". #3 took another twenty minutes before our food order was taken. #4 my wife's food FINALLY came after another twenty minutes wait(which we actually got up to walk out, but as we started walking towards the door, her food came). She was halfway finish with her meal before I received mines....well HALF of it. The Mardi Gras omelet was HORRIBLE. A "BUTT-NAKED" omelet with the ingredients THROWN on top of it. Ordered pancakes....got cornbread or CORN-CAKES...dry and crispy. Waitress was more concerned about the two tiny outside tables. I wanted to have breakfast with my wife....ended up watching her eat. It was a nonchalant, "don't give a crap" attitude. Won't be back.....not going to even mention the cheese grits....don't throw shredded cheese on top my grits. Then bring it out and the cheese hasn't melt.....down South we put our cheese in the pot "with the grits"......"
