"Instantly directed to sit in both 30 customers 6 waiters Sat 8 mins ignored by all staff while new walk-ins where taken care of. Finally a waiter from outside realized I haven't been served at the 8 min mark. Placed complete order while talking to waiter. Cheeseburger and diet coke with fries. Drink brought out at 10 waiter kind to offer free cookie for troubles. Was able to walk outside to smoke while I waited for food. Atmosphere seems cool just not sure if it's my age or impatience with ordering food and service workers now adays. Not speaking from privilege worked countless hours doing the same. The server a young gentleman seemed kind and professional only reason I didn't walkout earlyer. Main reason for trying this place was I was waiting on another adult I dropped off for an appointment. The establishment seems well suited for a quite place to eat and catch up. Food at 17 mark server was awesome. Eating here alone though is boring so I just watched some old man clean the fish tank. Food rating doesn't seem bad burger patty could use some love but not overall bad. 14.96 for diet coke and cheese burger with fries left tip and left."

"I should of went back to where I know I am welcomed. I should of stayed with Peppertree but I was closest to Carmicheal road. When I tell you that was a huge mistake. There was tall Caucasian male with white/along hair and a blk shirt at the counter. When I came in he blew his breathe and avoided eye contact, then walked away. I just stood there. There were two other ladies on the front counter. One finally acknowledged me with her back turned and asked what she could get me. I didnt answer because I didnt want to be rude talking to her back. She approached the counter and took my order. The tall older man with white-ish blond hair didnt say a word. Just stood there after he came back around the corner. Weird enough, another older man dirty blond hair came inside and the worker that avoided me RUSHED to the counter, even offered a smile and acknowledged the man AS SOON AS HE CAME INSIDE. The lady that took my order, I think she had braids, brown toned skinned, walked up and took his order. The older customer looked at me and said "have you got her order", the waiter said "oh she is taking care of her". I thought maybe they knew eachother and that's why he rushed to the counter, but nope.... Behind this older male a older lady that soon came inside. The waiter didnt say anything. This older woman had brown toned skinned as well. I was shocked at the avoidance, and ignoring and quite frankly I was about to call him out on it but then I thought, thats ok. I can just leave a review and thousands will know about my experience. Oh, the food was alright. Next time im going back to peppertree."

"I visited this restaurant 2/8/2025 with a few friends. We had coffee and breakfast and everything was amazing. Our waitress was S. Grace and she was lovely and was very professional. She made our dining experience nice, she gave us recommendations and everything was great. When I am in town I will make sure that I return."

"Chappy's is a staple in Montgomery AL. Every time we visit we stop by for a sandwich. We are vegetarian and they have one of the best Veggie Delight sandwiches I have tasted. The customer service is always friendly and very attentive. Service time is great. We always order ahead. If ever in this area Chappy's is a stop you won't regret."

"Hostess was quick to enter the parking lot & extremely friendly! If it wasn’t for the drive back I would have asked for my money back! Most TASTELESS pancakes and grits & eggs I’ve had! I could have had the hotel breakfast free or used IHOP points for free pancakes! It had a nice rating so I was looking forward to GREAT PANCAKES AND GRITS! Live & learn! Everyone had different tastes but this was disappointing! $20 wasted! I had 3 bites!"
