"D’Road Cafe is an absolute gem! There’s a lot of thought and care placed into this dining experience that you just don’t get elsewhere. I was here two years ago and the owners were just as attentive and genuine in their love for their food and their diners. Now for the food— It’s comfort food I didn’t know I was missing. From the Criollo- a hot plate with black beans, brisket, plantains, and a lovely green sauce, to the Cachapa with corn pancakes, to the sweet tea— the menu does not miss. D’Road deserves all the love!"

"Not only was the food so deliciously prepared for something that was just made out of corn beans and cheese, surely tasted like magic to me! The coffee was piping hot and very strong, which is exactly how I like it. Another cool thing about this restaurant is it’s in an historic department store, and I had a conversation with the owner about the history of the building, I’ve never eaten much Venezuelan food, but now I can’t wait to return and try every item on the menu."
