What People Are Saying
from Google & Yelp"Atmosphere is extremely casual and low end. Decor is overtly Christian and without theme otherwise. Service was fine, waitress was cordial and accommodating. Food was poor, I ordered the Chicken Parm. The breast was tender, but the breading was entirely mush. The sauce atop was a nondescript blend of tomato and cheese, akin to a canned pasta sauce blended with cheese."
"What a wonderful little hidden gem! ❤️ The days of meat and three are growing harder and harder to find. I was in town on business and ran into this little jewel. I came in I believe after the major lunch rush, but still people coming in. There is a bar, that appeared to have many “regulars” seated and sharing conversation with the waiter there. I say waiter because I do not believe any alcohol is served here. I ordered the fried chicken, green beans, and purple hull peas with sliced tomato. Everything was seasoned well, nice and hot, with the tomatoes being nice and fresh. The cornbread muffin was very good as well, just wish I would have had another. No way I could get dessert, but I did see someone order the strawberry shortcake and it looked really good. They are only open for lunch, closing at 2. No weekends either. I’m hoping for another business trip here to come back again, it’s for sure that good. Don’t miss out!"
"Great meat and 3. Good home-cooking style food. The food is always good and fresh and tastes great. Great prices and good portions. The service is great. Very friendly and helpful servers. Old country atmosphere with memorabilia all over the walls. Nice laid-back feeling."
"Kaylee our waitress was great. I had double salad, fried green tomatoes and fried chicken. It was all good. My friend had fried chicken and mash potatoes. She loved it. For dessert we had strawberry shortcake and blackberry cobbler. She said the SSC was good. I loved my cobbler because it was just a little bit tart."
"Wonderful "Meat-N-3" !! Everyday menu and specials. Only open 11-2, but if you're Jones'n homemade food, make sure you're here before 2 pm. Chicken 🐔 Tenders were outstanding 👌 and sides were very good. Had Collards, Squash Casserole, Coleslaw (Gail's way), Fried Okra, Fried Green Tomatoes, and the best Cornbread Muffins I've eaten in quite a while!!! If you're traveling 65/85 to or from Atlanta, and find yourself going through Montgomery hungry, you're in for a treat here! Only a couple of blocks off the interstate!! See 👀 you there..."
