"We heard great things about this place so we decided to check it out for ourselves. Walked in there was a pretty good line in front of us. Line went pretty fast. Ordered the Fried Chicken, Collards, and Rice & Gravy. Hubby ordered Fried Chicken, Stuffing and Mac n’ Cheese. We decided to bring it home and everything was still piping hot. Chicken was light and perfectly seasoned and cooked. No canned collards here! Absolutely awesome. Hubby was trying to figure out the “special” seasoning in the dressing.😂 He ate the whole thing and still couldn’t figure out what made it taste so good. Large portions for your enjoyment. If you haven’t tried this place, I highly recommend you do. You won’t be disappointed.😀"

"Stopped in for the first time today for lunch, which I got to go. Even after a 15 minute car ride, the chicken was still hot, crispy and delicious! This place is your quintessential hole in the wall soul/southern food restaurant and well worth a visit! Mac n cheese was cheesy and well seasoned and the cabbage was equally delicious."

"Delicious and fulfilling soul food! I’ve gone at least three different times and tried several options. I have always enjoyed my food. Sometimes I like specific sides more than others. Collard Greens have a good taste. Butter beans were a little sweet for my liking, but nothing a little hot sauce can’t heal! Candied yams were delicious and not too sweet. The service is good and they have desserts too! We even ordered catering for Thanksgiving. I appreciate the ordering process for catering and everything was handled very professionally. Hope this business continues to thrive!"
