"I have lived in Montgomery for over 25 years and I must say that this was the best bar experience that I have had in Montgomery. I work in downtown Montgomery and you definitely see Montgomery differently from this establishment’s patio. I was with a group of about 30 folks, most of whom were from different States. All of our guest could not believe how pretty our city is! If you need to impress people, please take them here! The staff was super friendly and provided a great atmosphere. I cannot say enough good things about this place. It was my first time going but I promise it will not be my last."

"We stopped by Waterworks on a Saturday afternoon for drinks and appetizers. The rooftop lounge is beautiful with great views of downtown Montgomery, but it was just too hot to enjoy earlier in the day. There were no fans or airflow, so we chose to sit inside. We ordered cheese curds, truffle fries, lemon pepper wings, and a pizza. The cheese curds were excellent, and the wings were so good we ordered a second round. The truffle fries were solid but nothing special. Unfortunately, the pizza was a letdown—it’s cooked in a wood-fired oven, but it tasted more like a frozen pizza. There are better options for pizza downtown. Drinks were tasty, but service at the bar was slow. It wasn’t busy, but it still took about 20 minutes to get simple cocktails. We came back later that evening and were able to enjoy the rooftop once the temperature dropped. The view is fantastic and definitely worth a visit. Overall, Waterworks has a great atmosphere and is a perfect spot for drinks and small bites—especially in the evening. We’ll be back for the wings and the rooftop vibe, but we hope to see improvements in service and pizza quality."

"Several of the tap beers were out and some were flat. Ordered the tacos, they were out of pork, odd for Alabama. It took 45 minutes for them to come out and they were skimpy, but had good flavor. I heard several other people having the same issues. I picked this place for convenience, I should have checked the reviews first, unusual for me not to check."

"The food was not worth the price. I don’t know if it was an off day for the server, but they were not very attentive. He got my order wrong, forgot my fork when I ask for another and added 18 for items for things I didn’t ask for. One of the few things that was good was the setting and the receptionist. Very kind lady and a very classy environment."

"Tried to go here despite the bad reviews. Figured we would give it a shot. Arrived at the top of the elevator, sign said wait to be seated. After a few minutes we looked around the corner to 3 people leaning against the bar. I asked if we seat ourselves they said yes go outside and find a seat. There was a total of 6 people on the rooftop. We waited about 10 minutes, a waiter came outside dropped drinks at a table near us, never came over to bring a menu or acknowledge us. Waited another 5 minutes. Went inside to the 3 standing at the bar again. Said good bye. Thank you for the service. The response was Have a great night! Not sure why they are open and don't serve their customers. Great location, great view. Left and won't be back."
