"Thanks for the extremely thin slice non-ripe avocado that was on my avocado 🥑 toast today Santos Coffee. This was my first time going there and will definitely be my last. I ordered through the Toast app and upon arrival to pickup my order, the staff made sure my receipt was out and well visible to ensure they received a tip. (Normally give cash … not through the app). Also, this small piece of bread that wasn’t even toasted cost me $11.17. Do better Santos!"

"Service is inconsistent. I’ve encountered extremely kind baristas and some that could be more accommodating and friendly to customers. The baristas are key to me being a returning customer. Once I experience one person who is unkind, I don’t want to return."

"Nice addition to Mountain Brook and great to see a local company expanding with new locations around town. This was my first visit but I’m sure I’ll put this in the rotation going forward. The coffee is reliably good across Santos locations and I like their coffee sourcing philosophy/methodology and transparency. They have a nice selection of hot breakfast food (only available till 2pm) and their pastries come from Last Call Baking, my favorite bakery in town! Only slight negative is that the shop can get pretty loud since it’s pretty open and busy, but that’s to be expected. Indoor and outdoor seating on the sidewalk are both available. Friendly service and good wifi. Bonus points for alt cups! I can’t rank it among the top shops in town as nothing is over the top the best, but worth a visit nonetheless."
