"This tea is amazing, the service was top tier. I highly recommended the Strawberry Sweet Tea and the Sweet Tea. Oh and did I mention they have gas mason jars that say Alabama Sweet Tea Company and u can get $2.00 refills. Oh the hours say closed but they just opened today. All the way from Illinois to Alabama for this HOMEMADE delish sweet tea."

"Alabama Sweet Tea specializes in iced tea, biscuits and their merchandise. You purchase your single serving of tea in a reusable large Mason jar that includes a lid and straw which is also refillable at a discounted price. They also call their unsweet tea "The Yankee" and I'm most certainly no Yankee and neither was my granny who also drank unsweet tea. This business also has quite a selection of self-branded merchandise and quite a few folks I saw came in just to purchase the merch. They also offer a 10% military discount here as well. This seems like a VERY popular spot and they had a lot of traffic going in and out of their space. This location is at The Wharf in Orange Beach so that also makes this an above average crowded area as there always seem to be a lot of people in this area. The one thing that I really disliked is they have no seating inside or outside their space. Some picnic tables or other type of seating would be really nice and a huge improvement as otherwise you just have to get your food to go. I finally found a picnic table across the street next to The Wharf maintenance building. I find it a very strange practice to be selling biscuits and iced tea without anywhere to sit and enjoy eating your food. The lack of seating doesn't seem to impact the many people that still seem to frequent this spot. Overall the tea I had was good except they were out of lemons and I drink unsweet tea with lemon so that made it less enjoyable. The biscuit was large and a decent example of a biscuit which they also provide you with butter and jelly."

"Outstanding. I got to visit the brand new location near the Wharf in Orange Beach Alabama. I tried the regular sweet tea and the RedHead (strawberry infused/flavored tea). I preferred the RedHead over the regular sweet tea and got a jar of it and a warm biscuit (the size of a large sandwich) with strawberry jelly - delicious, best biscuit ever. The only thing that I did not like is that I feel the Mason jars are not very practical to be carrying around a shopping center. These are heavy when filled (I needed to be sitting down and holding it with both hands and there are no tables/chairs at this location, but one bench outside) and there is no handle on the jar and there is condensation on the glass which makes it slippery. I saw some large plastic Mason jars with handles with some Halloween decor recently. Plastic Mason jars with handles should be considered for this product in places where people will walk and browse at other stores. I put my jar in my car with tea still in it because I did not want to accidently drop it and glass shatter. The cashiers were very nice. You can sample the tea flavors available. Please come open an ASTC in Savannah, GA. :)"

"Had a great experience at Alabama Tea! Matthew provided excellent customer service — very knowledgeable and friendly. He even let my girlfriend and I sample the teas before purchasing. You get a glass and can switch flavors with refills for only $3, and the cup is a huge 32oz. Definitely a hidden gem if you love tea. Matthew’s service truly makes you want to keep coming back!"
