"I have not had the pleasure of dining in but ordered take out on at least 4 separate occasions and it has not disappointed me yet. I look forward to dining in soon but until then take out will do. My last order was the catfish and grits. The okra is always good and crisp. The Alabama Sunrise is my favorite so far."

"The breakfast was amazing! Some of the best scrambled eggs I’ve had the pleasure of eating. The house made blueberry/pecan jam was perfect on my toast, also recommended by staff…thank you for that! I travel a lot and if I was in town more often, this would be my new favorite restaurant to eat at for breakfast, I’m sure brunch/lunch is just as good. Staff were very friendly and helpful, just a great way to start my day!"

"This is the second time my family has visited Grit & Grind Cafe and we absolutely love it. The staff are very polite and courteous, the space is clean and welcoming, and the food always comes out hot and delicious. I love their special coffees so I got "The Facebook" and a breakfast burrito with Jalapeños. I was so excited I started eating before remembering to take a photo which is why my burrito is missing some parts. Highly recommend Grit & Grind to anyone looking for a hot delicious meal and great staff."

"This is truly a southern breakfast/ brunch spot and I love that. No bells & whips, no mimosas just good food. My daughter had the chicken and waffle fries. I had the catfish and grits with okra. Both meals were great, although my fish was a tad undercooked on one piece. All the women we encountered that worked there were very courteous. I'll definitely go back."
