That kind of hospitality is rare—and it instantly makes you feel like you’re coming home rather than visiting a restaurant. The atmosphere is cozy, authentic, and full of heart. It honestly feels like you don’t have to travel all the way back to Germany to experience real German culture and food—you get everything right here at Rolf’s. The food was outstanding. We had Bratkartoffeln mit Schnitzel, and it was super lecker—perfectly seasoned, freshly prepared, and absolutely authentic. One bite and it truly felt wie zu Hause. Comfort food at its best, made with care and tradition. Rolf’s is more than just a restaurant—it’s a place where you feel welcome, relaxed, and well taken care of. "Wow! This place is amazing. Beautiful decor and all around a good atmosphere. The food was awesome. I got to taste a lot of things. Sadly I can't pronounce the names very well. Everything was absolutely delicious. Some of the food I hadn't had since I was a boy. Oh man did this place bring back memories. I talked with the owner. Everything is hand made and authentic. They even had landjaggers. I haven't found those made correctly in decades. Staff is super friendly and food that is out of this world. What a wonderful experience and dinner. Next time I plan to just point at something on the menu to try. I haven't found one thing so far that wasn't great. Now I find myself thinking, Birmingham trip? I need some Rolfs in my life as I start to drool."

"This last minute decision to stop for a late lunch while passing through became the highlight of my trip. We had a Pretzel with Beer Cheese, Schnitzel, and the German Meatloaf, which were all wonderful and truly a treat on their own. But then we tried the star of the show, the Black Forest Cake! Just Wow! Best we've ever had! The only bad thing I could find was that I live so far away this will only be a treat we get to enjoy when traveling. Hats off to the owner. Awesome place to eat!"

"First time here and everything we ate was wonderful. The food was amazing! From the appetizers to the desserts! Everything was homemade and fresh by Chef Rolf. He visited our table several times. His recommendation were on point. He really loves what he does and you can tell in every bite of his delicious food! We had traditional pretzels with beer cheese along with a Hofbrau original lager. We ordered the sampler and the Bratwurst for our main course and the Black Forest cake and Apfelstrudel for dessert. We were not disappointed. We can’t wait to come back!!!"

"Possibly the worst meal I've ever had. We had to ask to be seated. They just ignored us. The food was a plate of way too many burnt potatoes and the schnitzel I can't even comment on. Aldi has better frozen ones. Overpriced and unappealing"
