They offer both freshly roasted coffee beans, which can be ground for you, and freshly brewed coffee at the farmers market. The roaster is extremely knowledgeable about his product and was able to give me helpful suggestions on which coffee would best fit my tastes. They consistently had a supply of interesting and high quality single origin coffees. Surreal helped spark my interest in specialty coffee. It has remained my favorite and the most approachable roaster I have experienced even after having visited multiple specialty roasters in major cities in the US, England, and Germany. It is greatly appreciated to have a local specialty coffee roaster in Tuscaloosa, and I suggest anyone looking for coffee to support such a knowledgeable and helpful small business."
