"i went into fresh market today and i was blown away by the service i received. Wendy, the assistant manager in the bakery, was checking out the bread when i walked by and she asked me if i needed any help and she went over and above answering questions and she showed me around the store answering questions i had and telling me about the daily specials. She was truly such a blessing to me today as she was full of joy and encouragement- like a ray of sunshine. i got the $25 "little big meal" and it fed all 5 of us in my family. My kids, who are picky, all loved it as well. we will be doing that special every week if not twice a week! 5 stars for Wendy and for Fresh Market. "I've been shopping at the fresh market for as long as it's been in Tuscaloosa County and thoroughly enjoy the overall experience however, there is a lady who normally works in the bakery and every time she walks by me she threatens to call the police on me. One time she threatened to call the police because she didn't want me sitting on the park bench in front of the store, then she told me I wasn't allowed to stand over by the designated eating area towards the end of the building and continuosly threatened to call the police. I have not had this experience with any other employee nor any of the managers. I don't know what the issue is, I shop here quite often and I have not caused any disturbances with anyone"

"I love a Fresh Market. Boy, I struggle with the customer service in this store, so much so. I think I may not return. I love the premade salads, and you stand patiently waiting for help only to meet with someone who clearly hates their job. I will say the meat department is great."

"There meats always fresh and tender...I specifically go there for the fresh case. They don't accept OTC BENEFITS FROM AETNS THOUGH. WALMARTS DOES BUT EVERYTHING IN WALMARTS FRESH MEAT CASE IS INELIGIBLE FOR ME.THEY SAY ITS NOT HEALTHY. SO WHEN I GOT A CAR I STARTED TO GO TO VOWELS MONTHLY AND BUY ALL MY FRESH MEAT AND VEGETABLES. THERE SELECTION OF VEGETABLES ARE PLENTY AND KEPT FRESH"
