from Google & Yelp"We had such a wonderful visit to Markham and Fitz today! We lucked out with the timing - it wasn't too busy, which gave the staff time to walk my 12-year-old through how chocolate is made. They were so patient and knowledgeable, and even let them sample cocoa butter! You could tell they genuinely love what they do and enjoy sharing their craft. The products are exceptional - you can taste the quality and care that goes into everything they make. It's clear this is a team that takes pride in their work. So grateful to support a progressive local business doing things right. If you're in Bentonville, this is an absolute must-visit!"
"Overall, I really like this place. We normally have good customer service, we really like the chocolate drinks over ice and the other chocolate desserts. Because of the quality and homemade element, this shop is a bit pricey, which I think it's good for people to understand before they go in. As I wrote, I (and my family) like this business, but I did have a negative experience with their rewards program and one of the employees. When I went in last year, I thought I had points that had accrued but in my past experiences the employees said something about applying the pts, and I thought that would be the case this visit. But, the payment went all the way through and then it showed my points total, enough to get multiple items. I asked the employee working that day how can we know about our points before we pay or how can we use them? She told me it shows you after you check out how many points you have but I can't use them that visit. I thought that's an odd system because you need to know before you pay so you can use them, not including pts you just earned which I understand they probably want you to use on your next visit. I didn't ask her for more help understanding, because she had a weird/rude attitude our entire time in the shop like we were bothering her by being in there, including when I asked about the points (my husband and I both felt this way). I left thinking I would use the pts next time. We went in in January and I asked the employee checking us out about knowing how many pts we have (different woman, asked before I paid) and she was nice and said, she can look up the points. She said I didn't have any but I had 34 points expire in Dec. That was pretty disappointing, because a good chunk of those points were the points I had wanted to use on my previous visit. I had looked before we went in this recent visit and saw my last text message from the shop was in Sept saying 5 pts were expiring soon. I got no notification of the Dec points expiring. I let the employee know this and she checked something on the screen to make sure I would get texts again. She was nice & helpful. I immediately got a text that I earned 7 pts (spending $30) on this recent visit. Obviously I had spent quite a bit on multiple visits to rack up 34 pts. I really wish that other employee had been kinder and helped me when I tried to get clarification about using the reward points. That one visit was not good but I didn't let it turn us off from going again, but it was disappointing to find out that we lost all of our reward points which is a reflection of that negative visit and kind of made this recent visit not great either if that makes sense."
"A friend gave me the chocolate class as a Christmas gift, so tonight my husband and I attended. What an experience! David did an amazing job educating us on the entire process of chocolate making. He was so knowledgeable and has such a passion for making chocolate! His enthusiasm is infectious! We had a great time, tried some amazing chocolate and really enjoyed the experience! I highly recommend the class! If I could make one small suggestion, start the class on time, rather than keep the ones who were early or on time wait for the ones who are late. 😊"
"Whenever I am traveling, I always research the best chocolate shop at my destination. I was more than a little bit surprised to find a bean to bar chocolate maker in Bentonville. We walked over to the shop prior to our dinner reservation on Thursday evening and I immediately fell in love. The store was super cute and the chocolate selection was extensive. Bee let us know that the majority of the chocolates are gluten free, walked us through our flavor options and let us taste some of the chocolate bars. Everything we tried was smooth and delicious but in the end we purchased the souther pecan bar, harvest party bar and peppermint pretzel bar along with a box of truffles. All of the truffles were amazing but I highly recommend the coconut, pistachio and mocha truffles. As someone who considers themselves a chocolate connoisseur, I was really very impressed!"
"Everything about our tasting and tour was top notch! From the custom scheduling that was arranged -- to the exceptionally informative and engaging tour from David. My husband has been receiving your chocolates at our home in Cleveland for more than a year. To get to shake hands with the man who has crafted so many delicious moments was just a thrill! We look forward to spreading the word about your team and hope to make it back to NWA someday soon!"
"I stopped by here one afternoon with my coworker; we are both new to the area and were checking out The Momentary and the businesses at 8th Street. After..."
