The scenery is gorgeous, the food is made with love ...as a chef, you can just tell. The family who runs the chipmunk cafe treat you like family. Sweet people, delicious food, gorgeous view! Very accommodating as well. It's a must stop!"

"We ate here while visiting the gardens and were pleasantly surprised by how good it was. The service was nice. You order at the counter and wait until they call your order number to pick it up at the window. The seating is all outdoors, although there is indoor seating in the gift shop building next door. Prices are reasonable, and if I had to go back to the gardens I'd definitely eat there again."

"Sometimes the service can be a little less than hospitable, but I think it is because they are extremely busy and it takes extra effort to make everything fresh. The food is always excellent, just expect a wait of you want good, fresh food. (The folks that own and run it are super nice, I just think they are overworked!!!)."

"Went to see the Christmas lights and ate here before going thru the lights. We had the Ooey Gooey Burger, the loaded potato soup and bread pudding. Everything was hot and made to perfection for a small outdoor food truck vibe. Great view. Cold outside but food stayed warm. Glad we ate here"
