"It was so beyond adorable. I’ve never found another place that I thought was as well worth the cost as this place. We went for my sister in law’s bachelorette and we all thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and left stuffed! The tea and hors d'oeuvrea were both so so delicious and plentiful and the staff was extremely sweet and kind and helpful. It was so well worth it! We will definitely be back."

"What a remarkable experience! Each tea we tasted was impressive. Tonight, we indulged in an array of mouthwatering delights: delicate finger sandwiches for the first course, traditional scones for the second course, and a medley of divine desserts for the third course - everything was absolutely sensational. Every aspect was carefully planned, guaranteeing an experience that will leave a lasting impression. The accommodation for those who cannot climb stairs was a welcome touch. This is an absolute must for tea aficionados. Congratulations and thanks for creating an unforgettable birthday experience, Ramey. PS everything is Local"

"With joy, where do I even begin? We've always been such fans of The Parsonage - from a weekend brunch to weekly lunch and special plates, to their various delicious holiday meals. If you're going to The Parsonage, then you're in for a good dining experience. As such, I've been eagerly anticipating The Holly Blossom Tea Room opening for months. The tea room currently exists as a downstairs, semi-private area (an upper room is to open as well once the weather cools a bit). You'll enter through the Parsonage's dining area and will be directed to The Holly Blossom. The seating area accommodates 5 tables, approximately 18 guests for one tea service. It is well decorated with hanging flower garland lamps, tiffany blue walls, lace curtains and table cloths, rose-colored accents and unique china sets for each table. The room itself is partially enclosed, with its own playlist which creates a pleasant separation from the rest of the restaurant. We were greeted and directed to the room by Ramey and quickly attended to by a friendly server. Our server remained wonderful throughout the tea service, describing the dishes, refilling the teapots with hot water, and being generally attentive and open to questions. Our tea service was booked for 2pm and ran about 90 minutes. For the courses, Chef John gave us plenty to enjoy, and according to Ramey, the menu changes daily. The savories course for our day featured (from memory) Pepper and Cucumber tea sandwiches, house-made Chicken Salad on croissants (with crunchy vegetables and a dijon dressing perhaps. It was not particularly mayonnaise-y). Shrimp Tarts with sprouts, and a small slightly spiced BBQ bite (in a savory waffle cup with a pickled pepper). It was all incredibly good and I can't wait to try more. My guest and I were then served a large scone each - Strawberry and mine, a Kiwi, poppy seed. They were easily split in half and warm. With the scones we were served Strawberry Jam and Clotted Cream. About this time, we'd enjoyed at least two refills on our individual pots of tea and were beginning to wonder if we'd make it to the desserts course or have to be rolled out first. The desserts featured a blueberry, lemon curd tart, a slice of lemon pound cake, a slice of marbled pound cake, a miniature sticky cinnamon roll, a barvarian cream popover, a nutella cream pastry, and a pecan braid. It was enough that we were able to bring home half a box of just the sweets. The tea menu itself features about three teas per category - green, black, and Herbal/Rooibos. I enjoyed a pot of the Orange Blossom Rooibos and my guest enjoyed the Earl Grey Raspberry. The tea menu seems to be thoughtfully selected and paired well with all of the menu. Will definitely return soon. I have had tea at places double the price and received only a fraction of the food, atmosphere, and service. Mark this down as my new favorite spot. I plan on making many future reservations here."
