"I’ve been here a couple times before new ownership. Fun artistic and cozy environment. I did stop going though because when I would walk in. It smells like mildew or old sink water. Now that it’s Hero’s of Freedom Coffee, I think it’s a great backstory from the owner herself and a great cause! I had visited to see the new ownership and they had a 10% off if you wear your patriotic shirts. I don’t own one but I still went to support. I was going to buy something but there was a customer In front of me with a patriotic shirt that showed negative gestures printed on the back. My stomach dropped and I decided to leave. I really hope that this coffee shop doesn’t attract the negative aspect of patriarchy and I don’t want to feel judged or an outcast. By the color of my skin, my style, or my beliefs. I have love for everyone with no judgment! I want to feel comfortable going into a coffee shop where it’s cozy, still having the different arts and crafts around the shop. While still supporting our military and our law enforcement officers."
"New owner, new beans. Ordered the vanilla latte and it was the best latte I've had! PLUS, the server was able to do latte art - which is very difficult if you've ever tried! 100% would be my new coffee joint if we lived locally."
"I want to start this by saying the drinks here are PHENOMENAL & I never have a issue with the drinks (: HOWEVER, I’m not sure what this girls name is. (On the picture below) But almost everytime I come in and see her, I want to walk right back out. :( There’s so much more times than not when she effects the service and atmosphere of the place…. & not in a positive way. Many times she has made rude comments to me and multiple other people that I bring in there. The only reason I am posting this is because of how many people of starting to be affected by her customer service. I really only do positive reviews and leave the negative ones out but this is just starting to get out of hand. I’m always so excited to show everyone this amazing coffee but some never go back because of the service she provides. When she’s working, none of the customers (unless she knows them) gets greeted. She’s so nice to her coworkers and smiles all the time when talking to them but as soon as she turns to help her customers, she’s very aggravated and it’s noticeable all through her words and body expressions. Reviewing the comments, this is a repeated issue with her too… Customer service with other employees is amazing. It’s honestly just her that causes such a negative experience when we go… :( I really want to continue to support this business but if she continues to make this place a hostile environment, I won’t be coming in anymore.
