"10/19/25: This is my second visit. Probably won’t return after today. I ordered a Cinnamon Cream Cold Brew and the Feta Avocado Deluxe Toast. I’ve had their avocado toast before but not the delux. After my first bite i noticed a dead bug in my food (see pictures)! 🤢 I’d recommend they do a quality check of their food before handing it to the costumer."

"I’ll be honest, I’m giving this review bc I’m truly hoping that management/the owner sees this. Better Buzz hands down has some of the best coffee I’ve ever had, however the customer service, or lack there of must be discussed. Today was the second day in a row of me visiting the Avondale location, I’m in town visiting my grieving mother (we just lost my brother unexpectedly October 2025). I couldn’t wait to get back to Better Buzz as I was in town in Nov for the holidays. Long story short, both days when I walked in, I’m not greeted at all and the staff walks by, looks at me as I’m waiting at the register, gives half smiles but says nothing. Until the finish what they were doing and come and ask “would you like to place in order” - the interesting part is both days I’m the only one inside who looks like me and everyone else who comes through the door is IMMEDIATELY greeted!! I cannot make this up. Two days in a row, two different staff members. Why does this matter? Customer service goes a long way! I’ve been wanting this coffee since I left Phoenix and was so happy to have it again - but I don’t not spend my money where I’m not valued and to literally look me in my face and not acknowledge me but acknowledge those who come behind is totally unacceptable in my book. In summary, teach your staff to have better customer service and let them know it doesn’t hurt to say hello, you can make or break someone’s day by something so “small” but is really a big deal."

"A bit of a confusing (and expensive) experience. First off, the way they portion and price their Americanos is confusing. Why, when you pull double shots, would you sell a small Americano with 2 shots and a large with 3 shots? When I asked the staff if they just poured that second half of that double shot down the drain, they said “we save it for the next large drink.” Okay. So. Clearly this is a case of “Good, Better, Best.” And Better Buzz just shouted loud and clear where they stand. Essentially they’re charging quad shot (that’s two double shots, mind you) prices and giving out triple shots, shorting you that 4th shot, whereas any respectable coffee shop isn’t so blatantly ripping off their customers. And this is on me, I knew I shouldn’t have spent $10 on a itsy bitsy and squishy pretzel bun breakfast sandwich. But I did. And I regret it. It’s a vibe, y’all. And it’s not the best at anything. While it’s barely better than most in quality, their pricing structure just isn’t good enough for me to return. And that’s being kind. In reality, they’re robbing customers who buy their large espresso drinks. Stealing from the poor to give to the rich. Despicable."

"Ok this morning visit sensational customer service and great coffee and food! I love the chili oil egg wrap sandwich! My husband loves the ham and cheese crossaint. The coffee is so delicious! Love the hazelnut divinity coffee.. I hope I remembered it correctly. Anyways it's all great!"

"Did I really pay 10$+ for ONE cup of Greek yogurt ??? You guys can’t fill it up all the way like you do with the açaí bowl?? This is unacceptable. I did not expect to pay 10$ for something that is half full. To add onto that a glob of honey. I think I’ll just make my own for less than 10$ better than this."
