"The Florence Cafe is a wonderful small-town restaurant, with that homey feel. The place was packed, for a Saturday, and the servers were attentive to everyone with a smile, plus the breakfast was simply delicious. I would highly recommend this Cafe."

"This is the 1st time I've been here this late in the season. It was not busy at all. The dining room is small but clean, and with comfortable seating. 2 eggs and bacon came with cinnamon raisin toast and oatmeal. Denver omelet was filled generously with ham, peppers and onions, English muffin and hash browns. My eggs Benedict included a hearty slice of ham and tangy hollandaise sauce, hash browns and a side of chunky sausage gravy with a side of milk with the food."

"Went with my husband, it was very packed. Had availability within a couple minutes. First and foremost the food was subpar, husband had to order his steak again due to it being the wrong order of meat and it not being cooked to order. After he got it, still was not cooked to order. While waiting I observed the lack of care with cleanliness and conversations around customers. No one was using gloves besides the cooks, constantly touching hair, pants, shirts, personal items, putting food into their mouths, and touching food with bare hands. We didn't see anyone once clean their hands. They cleaned counters and picked up dirty dishes while picking up clean dishes with new orders on them. Also ice chest is to be closed and scoop to be stored outside of the chest away from the ice. It was left open with scoop inside as well as put touching the ice with bare hands using cups to scoop ice. They were very attentive to make sure food and products were served properly and to our liking, so that was the only nice part. Restaurant lacked in a lot, heath inspection definitely needs to be secret shoppers in that location. Definitely needs to be put on dirty dining."

"Great breakfast! Sunday morning was busy but food came out exactly as ordered. Our group tried pancakes, eggs Benny, and SMS omelet. Everything was cooked properly and delicious. Never had to ask for a coffee refill, the team worked together! And fairly priced."

"The food is always hot and delicious, the atmosphere; country but quaint, exactly what you expect in a small town. Homely, delicious, good service! This café deserves your attention, always busy and for good reason. Only a few times was my coffee not refilled unless I asked (usually peak hours when its busy) and the atmosphere is just below perfection due to how tightly packed things can get, and yet it just works!"
