"Perfect grab-and-go for any road trip! We picked up the Italian Sandwich Combo, and wow! This thing was loaded! Definitely worth your money! It’s a hearty, generous stack that definitely fills you up. While the pepperoni was a bit on the heavy side for our taste (a little too salty for us), the overall flavor was still delicious and totally well crafted. A solid choice when you need something quick, tasty, and road-trip ready!"

"Super excited to have a cool, local place come into this spot! The breakfast sandwiches were super delicious and the chocolate cherry roll was amazing! Everything came out very quickly even though it was decently busy and the staff were all super friendly. The chocolate cherry roll was so fresh, it was still steaming a little bit. "Don Guerra has done it again, extending his passion for bread into a new outlet that expands on his immense talent. My wife and I stopped at Bagel & Slice today and while I wanted to order one of everything, I grabbed a couple bagels and sandwiches. First off, the bagels are wonderful; Don does bread better than anyone out there. The strawberry cream cheese is elevated beyond the normal cream cheese you’d find elsewhere and perfectly paired with the sesame bagel. I had the Chiltepin cream cheese on plain and WOW!! I loved the heat and flavor, a perfect blend that will have me coming back for more. The Green tea and cold brew rounded out breakfast nicely. I grabbed a grilled cheese for lunch and I’m not ashamed to say it didn’t make it home…I chowed down on it before we got back. The sourdough focaccia panini is EXCELLENT and makes for a great adult grilled cheese! The Italian panini was spot on! We will be back to try the pizza slices next and I can hardly wait. Order ahead on the app to avoid the inevitable lines, this place is just going to get more and more popular. The highlight today was getting to see Don in person and talk about sourdough making and getting some starter from the bread king himself. You won’t meet a nicer guy than Don so make sure to say hi when you see him!"

"We stopped by Barrio Bagels and Slice and were seriously impressed! Everything we tried (Sonoran chocolate chip cookie, oatmeal apricot cookie, plain bagels, the heritage loaf, and the apricot cranberry loaf) was packed with flavor and showcased the kind of quality you can only get from truly great bread and local ingredients. We also grabbed a breakfast sandwich and the chicken BLT, and both were fantastic. The bread was hands down some of the best we’ve ever had — crusty on the outside, soft and flavorful inside. On top of that, service was fast and friendly, making the whole experience even better. If you’re looking for fresh, locally made baked goods and sandwiches that don’t disappoint, Barrio Bagels and Slice is a must-visit. We’ll definitely be back!"
