"Such a nice spot with a lovely view of the canal and the bridge! They serve really good breakfasts — highly recommend the Banana Nut French Toast, it’s sooo good! The coffee is pretty basic though, and sadly they don’t have matcha. We got our food in just about 5 minutes, even though the place was already getting quite busy. The staff here are super friendly and helpful, you can tell they actually care about their guests. Totally recommend stopping by if you’re in the area!"

"A unexpected surprise. I rarely have ever left 5 star reviews. Honestly the best Chicken Fried Steak I’ve eaten in years. Well seasoned, delicious potatoes with onion and peppers, unlimited refills on coffee. This place had my taste buds making love to my breakfast. Also situated right next to the London Bridge for a nice view and to top it all pet friendly and a sweet waitress even brought Mr. Mochi a slice of bacon. 🥓🐶♥️. Highly recommended."

"If you're looking for Hawaiian cuisine, this isn't the spot, it's more of a classic American breakfast joint. The space is quite small given the number of customers, and unfortunately, cleanliness leaves a lot to be desired. The floor was messy, and the overall environment felt a bit neglected. That said, the food was excellent. I had the pancakes with their house-made syrup, and they were absolutely delicious. The kitchen delivers, even if the upkeep doesn’t. The outdoor seating offers a beautiful view of the London Bridge and the channel, which makes for a great location despite the indoor shortcomings."

"GREAT BLT! I was dropped off here with family during a jet boat tour excursion and decided to dine-in as it’s the closest eatery inside the Island Mall to the London Bridge dock. I was pleasantly surprised with the quality of the food at this restaurant. The crispy bacon inside my BLT was to die for and the sandwich was overall very tasty. The sweet potato fries were also yummy, but I was severely disappointed when they only placed four waffle fries on my plate. It’s restaurant 101, you need to have proper portions. Our waiting service left much to be desired, our waitress didn’t really check on us and seemed a little standoffish. It felt like she was looking into my soul at some points, I’m not sure what her intentions were. The younger staff were super nice and really hardworking! I need to give a major shoutout to them for taking their job seriously. I wish we could’ve gotten one of the younger staff members, they had great customer service from what I could tell. Overall, I really liked the tiki aesthetic and Hawaiian decor at Makai. I think I’d give it another try when I visit Havasu again, however I’d come at a different time and order something else like breakfast."
