The spot is a converted old house with a great feel and aesthetic. The lattes were great, got the job done and were very tasty. If you’re in the area, you couldn’t go wrong swinging by for a quick drink or even some swag!"

"In a world of Starbucks, Dutch Brothers, and all those other crazy chains, cartel really brings it home with that down home feeling like the coffee shops I grew up with in Arizona. What they did with this historic old house really keeps me coming back every time I visit town. The location is also a huge plus; being in the Coronado District gives it a unique charm and a cozy vibe. Definitely a great spot to relax or grab a quality coffee on the go. Highly recommend!"

"I used to live right behind this shop. I often would walk in the morning from my house to grab some espresso, and I would look forward to the walk every morning. The baristas are cool, and I've discovered some really great music from the different playlists they put on. Only 4/5 given that their prices are +20% or more higher than the general area. I think they charge six dollars+ for a single croissant? Robbery, but I'm currently bumping the Marias and consider it a gift that I even found a new modern artist through this shop, one with surprisingly great lyrical content."
