"Firecreek Coffee Co immediately wins points for space. Housed inside a former 1940s department store on the Magnificent Mile, this place is huge… in the best, loft-style, old-Phoenix-meets-creative-hub way. Two levels, exposed beams, industrial bones, and artwork everywhere give it that independent, local coffeehouse energy that’s getting harder to find. To my fellow Phoenix raised millennials, think Willo House in the early 2000’s… That said… this space is begging to be used just a little more intentionally. A few more tables, some couches or comfy chairs, and suddenly this becomes an all-day work-from-coffee shop dream or a perfect “catch up with friends for way too long” spot. The private area upstairs would make an incredible rentable meeting or conference space, and there’s already a stage on the main level that feels destined for live music, open mic nights, or low-key community events. The potential here is huge. Now let’s talk coffee, because wow. The barista working today was an absolute gem: friendly, knowledgeable, and clearly proud of what they’re serving. I ordered the Dream Syndicate, and honestly? One of the best lattes I’ve had in a long time. Orange syrup, vanilla, and tangerine zest sounds risky on paper, but one sip and I was fully converted. Bright, balanced, and somehow cozy at the same time. Zero regrets. Parking is easy too… Just east of the building, with plenty of space, which is always a win in Phoenix. Overall, I really enjoyed Firecreek and genuinely want to see it thrive. With a little more seating and some community-forward use of the space, this could easily become one of the best local coffee spots in the area. 8/10 - the coffee sparked joy, now I just need a couch to camp out on and let Firecreek fully roast its potential."

"Truthfully, this had all of the makings of an easy 5-star. There was one piece that held it back: the service. I’ll start with what I loved. The space is so unique. It is two stories with quality seating, an upstairs and downstairs, and even a stage for live music/performance. I would describe this shop as roomy/productive. The coffee itself was great. We got the Horchata Latte and the Campfire Latte. Both had rich flavors. Presentation could have been better but the taste made up for it. The star of the show was the bacon frittata! I don’t usually order food from coffee shops but I was particularly hungry this time around. The bacon frittata was all that was left and it did not disappoint. The unfortunate demise of this restaurant was the service. The man was extremely short, uninterested, and uninspired. He was on his phone a majority of the time he was there, and he was playing his music extremely loud. It’s hard to rate a business off of one server, but this worker definitely held it back from being the best it could be."

"Landed in Phoenix, wanted coffee that doesn’t come from a horrible chain and love finding independent coffeehouses. This place drew me in with the description of roasting their own beans and having local art on the walls, plus one of the pics included a Corgi and I have a redbone who LOVES Corgis. GREAT coffee…I had a latte, it was smooth and non-acidic, and the barista guy is so warm and friendly. The other coffee-orderer in our group ordered a latte with oat milk, and one of the salted chocolate chip cookies. The baked goods are made in-house and the cookie was delicious. Great space, too. Big space that manages to feel cozy. Planning on getting the Golden Ratio on my way out because it just sounds good. UPDATE: the Golden Ratio…I had it with 6oz of half and half and it is SO worth going back for 😋"

"I may have found my new study spots. As a student and professional speaker, I am always looking for a nice place to grab a cup of coffee and slip into the zone. This Firecreek offers me just that. The coffee was great and there was more than enough space foe me to grab a seat and outlet. I would love to see them host some acoustic music randomly, if they dont already. Only concern is the location. I highly recommend frequenting this place becuase I would love to see them thrive and keep their doors open for many years to come."

"I hate coffee shops.... Usually they're more concerned with the atmosphere and give the quality of the coffee a back seat. Came in here on a whim since I live around the corner and always try to support local places. And holy cow, they have some damn good coffee. I just got a drip coffee since I figure thats the best way to determine if they know how to roast and treat their beans. Hands down the best coffee I've had in the Phoenix area. If there was co-working space here where I could take phone calls from clients, I may just have to setup shot here. Will definitely be returning to see how well they can pull an espresso"
