"I think this place might be new and therefore I hope the opportunity is taken to build on their business and learn from mistakes. Older lady at the counter is friendly but younger lady preparing lattes really needs behind-the-scenes training, I am no professional barista but I make a decent espresso at home and grind my own organic beans...the breve latte I ordered was as basic as the one I make every morning..however, the low quality of grounds used here really made a less than mediocre latte, weak and flavorless, there was no steaming done- the single shot was poured and then it was taken to the building next door to "warm it up'. I knew at that moment that my expectation of a breve latte was non- existent at that point, I tried it and it was luke warm, flavorless on the coffee notes- it was essentially microwaved half and half, I politely asked for a second shot of espresso in an attempt to still make the "latte" drinkable and after the young lady spent the next 8 minutes attempting to lock the portafilter in place, I was frustated watching her frustation..she took out excess grounds from machine with her bare fingers as she couldn't produce an extraction...then placed it back in like I wasn't watching, needless to say- this $6.50 20oz latte went straight into the trash. However, the pastries I purchased were delicious, hence the one star. Staff here is friendly and I don't doubt their heart is in the right place but please invest in quality products from organic beans that you freshly grind to a decent espresso machine in order to obtain and deliver a quality product that your costumers can praise and come back for! I loved the customer service but your business alone cannot survive on friendliness!! I wish you success in the future!!"
