"I’d give 0 stars if I could. Upon coming in we noticed nobody was there it was 2:30pm. We sat down and after a few minutes was greeted by Kata. She took our drink order and walked away. We overheard all the employees talking about leaving since their shift was over and Kata stated she needed to go home. She came over to take our food order and before I was done ordering she took my menu, kind of aggressive (2:44pm) We then proceeded to wait 28 minutes (3:12pm) for our food to arrive! We were the ONLY ones in the restaurant besides employees. When our food came out it wasn’t even hot. As I was eating a fly decided to land on my waffle, disgusting. Right before we got finished eating Kata came and handed our receipt and said she was going home but she’d be back. Why? Why were you leaving someone who wasn’t fully trained by herself, knowing we were about to leave. I wasn’t gonna sit around and wait. We will NEVER come back. This is the worst service I’ve ever gotten ever. We used to love coming here and it’s sad to say it’s gone so far down hill. Not to mention for the price of the food for just 2 people, you should really worry about making sure all your customers are happy."

"A true old-school diner experience and pure Americana! The Landmark Cafe in SV is a local gem that hits all the right notes for a classic breakfast or lunch. The food is amazing—you can't go wrong with any of the options and the sides are abundant —and there is always plenty of fresh, hot coffee flowing. But honestly, my fave part is the lively and warm staff. They make you feel like a regular from the second you walk in, treating every guest with genuine hospitality. Whether you’re sitting on the sunny pet-friendly patio or in a cozy booth inside, it’s the perfect spot for great comfort food and even better company. Its my new favorite haunt near my apt."

"The food and coffee is good, but for the love of God why was I being rushed to leave like a nuke was gonna drop? It wasn’t even busy!! Can I just enjoy my post meal coffee in peace? I didn’t even get to finish my meal let alone enjoy post meal coffee for my server and another one to keep nagging at me EVEN when I paid already lol. Definitely pissed me off this is a restaurant not fast food place. You sit and eat at your own pace."

"The food was good, the service was okay. It's a smaller joint so it fills up fast. While on vacation we ate here twice for breakfast and both times we were not disappointed. Gluten free options available on most breads which was very nice."

"Our Server was very nice. I asked another Server a question later and she never answered me just walked away. My friend asked that same Server another question and she answered him without turning around. The atmosphere seemed nice (patio) other than the Server questions. Food took 45 minutes from ordering it. My friend said his French Toast was wonderful but the coffee was awful tasting. My food was OK at best. Took forever to get our checks and pay. Won't be back!"
