"Is it possible to have healthy food in Surprise? This meal which I've had multiple times was so heavy laden with butter and flour it was pooling on top eith the butter. It should be a very light lemon cream, not so incredibly heavy. Gross. Disappointing and certainly not healthy. So U continue my exploration for healthy food in Surprise. So far, it's nonexistent."

"My husband and I were looking for a new place to try for breakfast a couple of weeks ago, we decided on Maple and Rye on a Thursday morning. It was nice and quiet with a half dozen or so other people eating, the dining area was beautiful with a lovely view! Our server was Stacey and she was so friendly and answered any questions we had about the menu and was able to give some lovely recommendations. My husband had the Country fried steak and eggs while I had the salmon benedict. He loved his meal and my salmon benedict was wonderful..In the future I plan on coming back for breakfast again to try a Denver omelette. It looks like they also have a fantastic dinner menu as well so we are planning on coming back in for dinner some night soon.They also host a trivia night at Maple and Rye we would love to attend. If you have ever been curious about Maple and Rye please give it a chance, you wont be disappointed. Also,I I have never played a round of golf in my life but the course looked great, and there were quite a few golfers out despite the cold. I just may have to give it a shot!"
