from Google & Yelp"I was in the area for vacation and wanted a quick pastry and coffee. Just checked this place out and I was not disappointed. Very small place with no indoor seating but was busy so had to know it was good! Was greeted warmly when walking in door. Ordered a lemon meringue croissant and it was top favorite thing I have ever ate. The sweet marshmallowy meringue with lemon custard inside a very flaky and soft croissant. *Chefs kiss*, It was delicious. I wish I lived closer to try the other flavors! I got a flat white coffee and they had a variety of milk options also. Prices weren’t listed but my croissant and coffee were average comparable prices to other coffee shops. There were a few tables with chairs outside. Definitely want to go back!"
"Found this little cutie on the way from Tempe back to Chandler. We ordered 2 lattes (one Chai Cookie Butter and one Cookie Butter) and a cinnamon roll, all were great! All of the pastries are huge and everything is baked onsite. The inside is small but, things move along quickly. They even have items for sale. My only concern are the cup sizes. I get drinks from a lot of places and what some consider a Lrg is moreso a Med at best. Other than that, definitely a must try!"
"Looking for espresso 'in my area' I find this little gem. La Marzocco machine with a killer bakery attached. Coffee comes in two sizes, medium with 2 shots, while the large gets 4 shots (egad-zooks). Previous reviews were WRONG, there are now 2 chairs inside, 2 counter height tables outside w/ 3 chairs each. So, there are places to sit. After ~4 people inside, customers patiently stand in line. One person work the whole (retail) space. Customer room is maybe ~5'×12'. BUSY!! Empty parking spots' half life seem to be three minutes. Taking a leap from the name, either the investment was an experiment on the owner, or they just continuously keep bending the rules on what works. The espresso croissant was too far out there to not try, it geys a very light icing and a light as air creme inside. I only noticed it as it was cooler than the flaky pastry. Plenty of takeout, called ahead, working here."
"My pictures does not do it justice! What an amazing little hole in the wall. I've been trying to try new small business coffee/pastry pretty much anything that small business related. And so far I have not been disappointed. The flavor of their coffee is so rich and bold, the pastries are so delicious and rich, buttery and flaky"
"Experiment Coffee and Pastry is my favorite place to grab something sweet and a good coffee (when I want some caffeine). Every time I go, it just feels so welcoming and nice. You know, that spot you just instantly love? I highly recommend it! Okay, let's start with the pastries because they are everything. You absolutely have to try the Kouign-amann. It is out of this world! I don't know what kind of magic they use, but it's this perfectly buttery, flaky, caramelized treat. It’s my absolute must-get, every time I walk in the door. Their fruit danishes are wonderful too. The pastry is light and crispy, and they always use the freshest fruit on top. Delicious! Of course, I visit for the sweets, but their coffee is good too. I've had one of their seasonal Iced Lattes. It wasn't too strong or too sweet, just right. You can tell they really pay attention to everything they make here. If you’re looking for amazing pastries and quality coffee, you should definitely make a stop at Experiment Coffee and Pastry. You're going to love it!"
"I stopped by with my sister yesterday for some pastries and a drink. We walked on in and there was already a customer being helped and someone else walked..."
