from Google"I recently discovered Ike’s Love and Sandwich during a lunch outing with my colleague, and I’m so glad I did! For someone who loves exploring new spots, this place absolutely got me. Hands down, it’s one of the best sandwiches nearby. My colleague grabbed a chipotle burrito from next door, but after stealing a bite, admitted my pick was the clear winner. I went for the pastrami sandwich, which was loaded—probably clocking in at around 1,500 calories of pure deliciousness! The menu has so many tempting options, and I’m already planning to go back and try some of the chicken sandwiches. The crew was incredibly welcoming, and the woman at the counter was so sweet, helping me customize my order with a smile. The interior is clean, well-maintained, and is good for dining in with a small group. While the pricing is on premium at around $14, it’s absolutely worth it for the quality and portion size. Plus, there’s ample parking, which makes it super convenient. Highly recommend checking this place out!"
"When the Ike's by ASU first opened, I was a pretty picky eater. Shortly after graduating from high school, I became less picky about my eating habits. When I started at ASU back in 2014, I discovered Ike's as I was exploring Mill Avenue. Since then, Ike's has been among my favorite places for sandwiches. Although it is no longer on the menu, my favorite sandwich is the Steph Curry One, which features turkey, provolone cheese, and yellow BBQ sauce. I found out that even if something is not on the menu, they can still make it for you if you remember the combination. Some other sandwiches I like are the Hunter Pence and the Steve Nash. The service is friendly, and they are more than happy to offer suggestions on what sandwich to choose, as they have an excellent selection of sandwiches. I also like the atmosphere. It is nice and colorful, making it a perfect place to relax and enjoy your food. Ike's is also a great place to go if you need to eat on the run. Once, I had to take my sandwich to go. Upon ordering it, they had it ready with plenty of time to spare. I also like that they have a rewards program. I highly recommend Ike's Love and Sandwiches to anyone who is looking for a great sandwich on Mill Avenue."
"Absolutely love this sandwich shop. It is cute and fun. There is counter service and you get your food in a brown paper bag like mom used to make. Except the sandwiches are much better than the standard pb&j. They meet ADA regulations and have bathroom facilities that can handle a large electric wheelchair. They have fun murals and retro lunchboxes all around you as you eat. The vegetarian and vegan choice I can speak from experience are amazing For the meat eaters I have come here wirh I here that fare is just as good. So many choices with fun names for the sandwiches. Great chips, fountain drinks, bottled and canned drinks to go. Indoor and outdoor seating available. There are high barstool type seats as well as regular tables. The food and atmosphere are really great. I definitely highly recommend especially for vegetarian friends."
"After a hard day of work and being very hungry and after going by my local store to get a few snacks for tomorrow I decided to go and have myself if I would eat I happen to come across a small little side place off of Mill Avenue in Tempe Arizona known as Ike's ASU. When I went in, and only after studying the menu and the cool atmosphere along with the wooden tables and very high ceilings , the cozy little place is fantastic for a gathering with close friends or catering for game night. Though semi crowded, I found it a wonderful place to enjoy a great meal. I decided to have the Reuben sandwich the number 91, which had a heart next to it, and since I hadn't had a classical Ruben sandwich in so long well I just had to have it... I was not disappointed!!!! I also bought the Calypso, which they sell and have on hand with a large variety of flavors... I chose the pineapple and lime, juice and a couple that with a potato chip called voodoo key New Orleans style from Zapps which was all compliment with their house sauce, which basically a garlic aioli with a fantastic twist of tanginess I hope to someday discover. Once I bit into sandwich, I was delighted to know that it was juicy and tasty and all your house front toasted to perfection they serve this whole meal with a sucker a group sucker which to my surprise was just a nice little added treat mov ing so it was a juicy smoke d corned bean topped off with special sauce and a red cabbage which is not your typical Ruben sandwich. The combinations flavors knocked me off my feet for taste flavor and everything you could want after a hard day of moving equipment around the yard.. that being said our lighting by everything I try here I encourage everyone who visits our fine town of Tempe Arizona, whether you are an ASU student or just happening to come across town for a game to stop by this little hole in the wall shop, which took me back in time to simpler times, to head just North of Seventh Street on Mill Avenue before the ASU Mountain on the right and tucked away behind the Bank of America to come have a taste. After sampling the Calypso pineapple limeade they were surprisingly sweet and very refreshing which drove the dust of the day to rest. The New Orleans style kettle chips through the heat was just enough to touch the back of my throat coupled with the the sauce that they served for stops what a convenience labors and taste I like any sauce to a classic garlic aioli or just touching heat to it which gave it up its own unique flavor. Enjoy your meal 😋😁😁😋😋 Five ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐"
