What People Are Saying

"Che’s Lounge is one of those rare neighborhood gems that always feels welcoming. The vibe is laid back but lively, with a perfect mix of locals and visitors. Drinks are strong, well priced, and consistently good. The bartenders know their craft and make you feel like a regular from the first visit. Music and atmosphere strike the right balance never too loud, always just right for conversation. Whether you’re stopping in for a quick drink or making a night of it with friends, Che’s has that cozy, comfortable energy that keeps you coming back."

"I walked up with my 2 daughters, 24 & 28. It was one of their birthdays. Immediately the bouncer accused us of having too much to drink (even though our night had just got started) and denied us entry. I felt so discriminated against. I can see by the comments this is not his first time. I was discriminated for my age, as I am 49 and for my ethnicity, I'm Mexican. I'm seriously thinking of pursuing legal action. I just wanted to post this on here so other patrons will know."

"Great venue for live music. Very attentive & cool bartenders. The variety in age & background of patrons make it easy to mingle."

★★★★★

"I've started coming here a couple times now, each time the bar is stock full of people. They make sure to check your ID at the door. They don't have table service so you have to wait at the bar for your drinks and bring them back to your table. The drinks are always well made and reasonable priced. They have a patio as well. My biggest issue with this place is when I use the rest room I feel like I walked into a hotel that people pay by the hour. It is quite dirty, run down and dreary. I get the atmosphere however you can have atmosphere and still look good. I feel like the atmosphere of the bar doesn't reach in the bathroom and it's just been forgotten about."

★★★★

"Awful experience. My friends and I were just starting our night downtown and were looking for a place to grab a drink and use the restroom. As soon as we approached the door, the bouncer immediately shut us down, claiming we were “drunk” even though we hadn’t had anything to drink yet. We asked if we could at least use the bathroom, and he refused, telling us to leave. Things got worse when he smacked my friend’s ID out of his hand. Whoever was checking IDs last night should seriously be held accountable. There is absolutely no reason to put your hands on anyone or knock something out of their hand. It gave us a really uncomfortable vibe, and honestly, the way he acted felt targeted and homophobic. Overall, an extremely unprofessional and unpleasant experience."
